And he also went on an hyper idealistic rant in Kashmir and said he would conduct an unbiased referendum (after Pakistan usurped PoK). And he was woefully inept at handling wars, as seen during the 1962 Sino Indian war. I'm gonna criticize him for the things he should be criticized for. By not doing so you are ironically becoming what you seemingly resent, a blind jingoist. No leader is perfect though, and hindsight is 50-50. But there is no doubt that he failed our nation and our army with his less than stellar wartime leadership.

Second of all, you should be grateful as he gave your grandparents a chance to live on a full stomach by his agricultural reforms, and he gave you your great dams which never broke, a strong democracy backed by a properly implemented 148,000 words long constitution in the country (thank Ambedkar for the constitution, thank Nehru for its proper implementation).

Even though, Sardar Patel passed away in 1950. Nehru would have came to power anyhow
It was the Republic of China (ROC)
Which was part of the allied forces in ww2 . After the defeat of axis , It was the idea of Joseph Stalin of ussr to give the permanently members of security council the veto power . These counties included the ROC, USA,USSR,UK and France , but after the communists win Civil War in China and established the People's Republic Of China (PRC)
And the ROC government was limited to the island of Taiwan, the US was afraid of Growth of communism in Asia, The ROC was in no condition to have a permanent seat in UN. That's why US offered the vacant seat of ROC to India , But Nehru declined it because he wanted to improve indo - Chinese relations. He wanted to make China as a key Ally in the midst of Cold war . That's why he advised the UN to give PRC the seat which was Rightfully theirs . But China backstabbed Nehru and India while invading askai chin . Nehru did everything to establish strong relationship between India and China . Though I believe it's not right to blame China for the cause of war , I believed its the fault of British who did not clarified the borderline between India and China in Ladakh and Arunanchal Pradesh . There are literally 4-5 different borderlines made by the British and non of them was officialized by the Qing empire and British Raj.
And First of All Nehru did not took the treasure of Jaigarh Fort . It was Indira Gandhi . At that time the royal house of Jaipur was represented by Raja Sawai Mansingh (II) and his wife Gayatri Devi. The family was independent candidate and never saw eye-to-eye with the ruling Congress Party.
Gayatri Devi had defeated Congress Party’s candidate thrice. Gayatri Devi had severely objected to the emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi in 1975, thus further enraging an already upset Congress leadership.
As a result, Indira Gandhi ordered IT department to take stock of royal house’s income and assets. IT-department had to seek the help of army to conduct the raids inside the palace.
The quest to find the hidden treasure continued for three long months. After three months of relentless search, army finally called off the unsuccessful excavation work. However, to make way for army’s heavy vehicles, Delhi-Jaipur highway was closed for three days.
It was said that the vehicles contained treasure found during the excavation. Nobody has been able to ascertain what was carried in the vehicles and Jaigarh Fort’s treasure has remained a mystery ever since.
And what the hell are you talking about Kashmiri Pandits? The massacre occurred in early 1990s
26 years After Nehru's Death in 1964. And to correct you that only Kashmiri Pandits were not a victim of the massacre , many innocent Muslims were also killed by the extremists who tried to resist and oppose the violence.

@@sureshpoduval6951 if u are compairing the present day issues to the mistakes that happened in the past , man u are truly not taking responsibility of what else could have been achieved during the different govts.
      1) their relationship ,if any, is none of our business. and sardar ji were quite old and ill during partition to be the head for the coming decade or so to have a stable govt. Thus even though non democartic this was a good decision.
2)u gave too much focus to kashmir and yes it is true that he should have not keep it on a hill hold . whatever happened was unfortunate and highly condemned . but can it all be forced on just his sholders? just a question.
      3) u are thinking very 2-d about hyderabad and jk situation . jk is surrounded by both pak and china which is way different from hyderabad which is completely isolated . SO the logic is flawed. still iron man did a commendable job in uniting india.
4)india as u already know had very low foreign intelligence due to ib being split and hence the decisions were flawed .
This is one of the biggest mistake that happended due to lack of perspective.
5)kaul was indeed cheif during the sino india war ,and yes he lacked the experience and hence failed . yet the damage control was done ,not in the best way but still well
6)This is a difference in perspective mate, one leader had millions to in the times of extremely low finances and hence saw ladak as bad for food cultivation ,
while RG thinks in the modern prospect where india has grown out of those dark ages after years of strugles and now we can enjoy our different terrains .
      7) & 8) again a political move that was flawed and costed in future. similarly we can say that even pm modi too have these flaws including unplanned schemes like demonitisation, agnipath, beti bachao, gst, and many more. yet we accept that govts make mistakes and we have to let it through.
      and adding to it
JN did build the india we now live in and we have to accept that he had a great vission,be it 5year scemes , panchayat system, iits, iims, aiims , powerplants , indias first national highway and so on
and it shows work can be done even in the darkest of times.
We should take notes from the bad decisions that were made and ammend these mistakes in future , gade murde ukhadne se desh aage nahi badhta , jawab mangne se banta hai.
so ask the ruling govts on how they will make india better.

Nehru is the reason for many of the present day issues in India.
      1) Nehru ,using his relation ship with Lady Mountbatten , became the PM, even though Sardar Patel got more votes than this guy
      2) He took Kashmir to UN ,just to become a Global leader!! worst thing any leader could have done!!
      3) He was handling Kashmir accession to India , added Article 370 ,colluding with his friend Shaik Abdullah!!. Other end , Patel handled many states ,including Hyderabad , but No Article 370 !!!
      4) In this Interview , he says, he 100% believe China!! eventhough, journalist were doubtful !!After he made good statement about China at UN, within one week , China invaded India !! .Nehru could not foresee China's plan!!
      5) His Kashmir friend ,Kaul was Army Chief ,during China's invasion.KAul was an incapable man!! ..Finally Nehru had to call back "General Sam Manekash" to lead the Army..and he told Sam "I DID A BIG MISTAKE"!!
      6) In 1962, Jawaharlal Nehru said "Not even a blade of grass grows in Ladakh (Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir)". In 2023, his great-grandson, Rahul Gandhi says "Ladakh is one of the most beautiful places in the world”. Who is telling the truth?

No wonder Gandhi chose him because Gandhi was exactly like him!! That’s exactly why Gandhi was never given Nobel Peace Prize. His intentions were never right. What an honest interview. He did not shy away from, nor did he try to evade any question. He was forth right and all encompassing given the time limit. He gave respect to all nations, including his neighboring states. He wanted to keep the story of the tragedy in Africa alive and relevant to the politics of that continent and its many exploitations by the world order of those times. Today, if you ask a question on job availability to a politician, he answers back by saying something totally unrelated such as "It is rather busy, at the fairgrounds today".

      7) In 1950, USA proposed India to join Security Council as permanent member with veto power !! Nehru's answer was "Not at the Cost of China" !!!!.and China got the membership!!!! After a decade China invaded India !!! and now, China is the Country stopping us to get the membership!!!
      8) Sam Maneksha say in his interview available in RUclips " When Pakistani people were attacking Kashmir, we were waiting for order from NEhru to counter attack! Finally Patel intervened and asked Nehru "JAwahar, do you want Kashmir or want to handover to Pakistan!!? " and Patel turned to Sam and told " You got your orders .Go and attack them"!!! Nehru is the main reason, why part of KAshmir is in Pakistan ..Also he is the reason for the current days problems there!!!!$

Many problems exist in this world because of our predecessors. Your job is to make it right and work to make it right.
If you don't understand this basic thing, the education system definitely raised someone who can't think of solutions but keeps crying about the problems.
As a statesman their job is to make things right by thinking about solutions rather than crying about it.
The caste system exists in India do you think Nehru kept crying about it by saying the ancestors did something bad in the past and now we're living like this. He worked with other statesmen by thinking about solutions to it so people can benefit.
