Hi Beth🐻 Thanks for taking us to St. Johns!!🥀 There is nothing like being inside a beautiful church or holy place. It always is very peaceful and serene. I love the unique architecture of historic churches , 🌹 and on occasion , I will step into a church that is open and sit for a time... ( I'm glad you're better and able to be out and about again;🏵)

I remember more churches used to be open for moments of reflection. They seem to lock their doors more-so these days. This one has a fee for entrance outside of mass times. But I do love a good pop-in place. I remember when you visit a new house of worship, you're supposed to make a wish? Did you ever hear that? 🌟⛪

@@farbav HI Beth.. I'm not familiar with the tradition of Making a Wish when visiting a new church... Was it common for you growing up? I was always told to be very respectful, don't make noise and learn something new 😄
Hi DN, My Mother always said that. Maybe it was a trick to get me to go to churches 🤣🤣. I asked Frank, and he never heard of it, but, as he points out, he grew up with a Mom who had converted to Christianity/Catholicism.
I'm also quiet as a mouse, horrified if my pew squeaks, and say a little prayer. 🍓🩴
