Matt and family. So sorry to hear Mark has gone with God. Now, he has been relieved of the pain...and he is in the arms of Jesus. Jackie said Mark smiled...I expect it was Uncle Floyd and Jesus with open arms. Love you all. Watch out for your Mom and Dad...this is the hardest thing they will ever bare. Their strong faith will get them through.

Dude: Side boards would have been cheaper, and easier. The bed already had stake pockets.
The whole time Matt was telling the problems with the flat bed, I was looking at those stake pockets wondering if he knew what those were for. He apparently didn't.

That bed was meant to have removable sides. That’s what the holes are on the sides are supposed to be used for.

@@johndle5511 Yes and no, they can be used for that, or for sticks that you then can use to form a "bed" of sorts. not as good as a regular truck bed, but close.
@@johndle5511 stake pockets can be used for straps and anchor points yes, but they also allow people to build and hang sidewalls on the flatbeds. I love my flatbed but like the look of a normal truck bed better for everyday running around. When i am hauling my trailer, gooseneck, it makes it easier to hook up all the trailer plug and chains with the flatbed though. Im sure Matt wont miss the flatbed and enjoy the trucks looks with the normal bed better, plus Mere will think it looks better than the flatty ....
Stake beds look cheap to me and are ultra noisy with sides in. I'm curious to see what he goes with.

Matt, I would go for at least 4 CAT6 per office in case of IP enabled new equipment and/or sub-dividing more office space. I mean just the computer and an IP phone already max out your connection for each office. Of course you can run a small un-managed switch for each office, but it's kinda unsightly. Also, make sure you run extra CAT6 to multiple locations on the ceiling all over the building, as you will probably need at least 4 wifi access points. The point is that it's always easier to have the cable already ran and not need it, than need it later and run it with all the dry wall already in place. Just my 2 cents....

A smart person would have built side boards for the flat bed. That is what the holes around the outside of the bed are used for. They are called stake pockets, usually for a 2x4 to slide into...If you had kept the flat bed and added side boards you could have have the best of both worlds. Use the side boards for a contained bed take them off for a flat bed..."Rocket Science"

Matt, I know this video is two years old. However, that flare bed is made so you can install bedside rails on the sides to carry all your groceries and stuff.
I was at Walmart this past Saturday, and food isles were completely empty. I mean, not all, just certain isles and shelves were bare. Others were stocked. I got some of the last shredded cheese and lunchmeat left. That was only there because it doesn't last very long.
Well if you want to keep the bed you can make 1’ tall bed sides that go in the holes on the side of the bed. And you can put dividers in between them soot worksz

Next time, you should install some removable truck box camper jacks. It will make it super easy to put on and take off both truck boxes. 😊👍
Make brackets and weld them on the side...make your own sides with 2x4s and 2x6s...that are removable when needed...that's what I did and love it
Take that wedding ring off when your working on vehicles! It's all fun and games till you walk into the er with a zip lock bag of ice and finger with a ring attached! Speaking from experience, it happens so fast it doesn't hurt till you look at it.

Oh the nutjobs are still going. A friend of mine who works at one of the big boxes told me each morning the TP gets wrecked in the first hour. Water is next, followed by frozen pizzas, ground beef, bread, milk, lunchmeats and finally eggs. Then the mob leaves to repeat the next day. Meanwhile the good stuff is left totally untouched.

I was in HEB in Laredo. I can't say I care for Laredo. I was mostly in Grand Prairie...but, in a truck, you are limited. If I ever get back to Texas, I want to check it out better.

you could build or buy bed sides and a tailgate for the flatbed. wood metal or both. its got the slots on the sides for doing so.
