Nice build........these kits remind of my younger days. I build mostly aircraft now but will definitely return to my roots and build one of these...looks like lots of flash cleanup....lol
I have this kit too, very nice build I enjoy watching your videos even play them in back ground because I find them relaxing. Anyway question if I wanted my hood to lay flat and more even with the quarters and front how could I accomplish this? Thank u kindly.
Alf -Great question. There is a way, but it might take some practice with spare parts. Since plastic is malleable when heated, you can gently bend the hood piece to fit your car body by placing it in very warm water. Have some cool water running on the other side of the sink. Then using some gloves to withstand the heat pick up the part and gently bend underwater the way you want it to form. Pull it out of the water and rinse off under the cool water faucet to set the new shape. Test fit your part. Repeat these steps until you get it to the shape you want! -Doug
