I'm 65 yrs old and just began modeling, in fact I have just finished my 2nd model. I wish I had watched your builds before I began. You are very generous with your info on How To and by demonstration. THANK YOU Sir, you are in a very small elite group of exceptional modelers. I was expecting to hear the Chevelle start and watch it drive off.
Although I build many kits in my youth, IIt's been 30+ years since I built a model. Recently my best friend bought the '69 SS 396 kit for me as a gift. I had a new Hugger Orange '69 SS Chevelle which gives away my age. Thank you for your outstanding video. I've watched a lot of RUclips videos but this one is one of the best. Thank you for sharing your skills. I'm sure my build will be much improved as a result of watching your video. All the best to you!
Top Notch! I have started this kit and I see I have a long way to go before I reach this level. This is the first time I have ever seen someone mask the model and then paint the trim. I love how that worked out. I 'm also learning more about how to get that finish . Great video!
I admire his detail and talent . but I wouldn't have the patience nor time , I prefer to just throw some paint on ,and put it together, put it on the shelf
mr. Lin your model builds are quite stunning to behold. You have very great skill, truly. I enjoy your videos and look forward your next one.thank you for teaching me to be a better modeller. cheers sir!
It's a beautiful car...so much so that I've started the '67 Chevelle Pro Street. I'm doing something a little different: racing green Tamiya spray for the bodywork, light tan interior and racing white for the seats, should be a good marriage of colors, any suggestions for what color I should do the roll cage?
wow great paint job just bought some gaia ex black and clear seen giri paint a 57 that color and i was sold painted a 69 chevy11 model master blk lacquer and could not stop staring @ her🤣thanks dou scooter d😎
Amazing precision and great touch on all the upgrades! May I ask what kind of super glue applicator you used when you were installing the windshield part? It looks like a very fine silicone brush but I couldn't find anything like that on Amazon yet.
thank you very much!😄 the super glue applicator is a P.E set, you can find it on web store,I juse modify that by adding a wood handle, that makes it easier to use. 😄
hi,the most use of my airbrush is Gunze mr. airbrush ps289 (0.3mm),I also use h&s infinity cr plus airbrush..I will make a video about tools which I like.😊 when I spray paint(I usually use lacquer paint), I usually wait till the previous coat is dried, you can test the surface with fingernail...for wet coating,it takes longer for waiting...8-12 hours will be fine.. the more layers you put, the more drying time you need,I often wait at 72 hours after final coat..
Awesome job..... show quality!!!! Where can I get those rivets for the doors & trunk? I looked on Ebay, & they are way too big.... any help would be appreciated..... thanks, Chris.
hi, you can try seach: hobby design rivets,or you can try :top studio reviets,I think they are good quality and suitable items for detail up,happy modeling!!
@@MRLINSSCALEMODELING Hey Mr. Lin......I'm very happy U checked out my build!!!!! It was a great build, the rear valance was a bit fiddly getting it into place, however very carefully I was able to fit it onto the body without any damage.

You just made your own car door handle because the stock one seemed to big?
Brilliant.
thank you very much!😄
and the stock handle is a piece of solid plastic..not a hook shape like real one...
@@MRLINSSCALEMODELING Yes, I noticed that your own handles are much closer in shape to the real thing than those big, clunky (!) original ones.
fantastic build,i have built that kit myself, very good kit. where is the female figure from?
thank you very much!!😄the figure is from hasegawa 1/24 ..very nice kit!!
isn't the SS454 more muscular than the SS396?
Excellent build, where did you acquire the magnets used for bonnet/Hood placement?
hi,the magnets are bought from web store, you can search 1mm-2mm diameter of them😄
Stunningly beautiful build...new Subscriber...look forward to watching & learning from such a talented & detail master.
