If you brought this to a model show you could prob easily win an award or two for building something so amazing from just the parts provided in the original kit
Absolutely perfect..I have only 1 tiny problem that is just me being me. The underside of the floors, under the car, needed to be body color with overspray. Other than that I could not do this without years more of dedication, well done!
This kit brings back a ton of childhood memories of me and my friends riding our Shwinn Stingrays we always kept our bikes super clean and waxed and the chrome rims brightly polished my mom had a friend who upholstered cars we rode by his shop on day he told me and my brother to hang on took our Shwinn banana sests off and redid them in black hotrod tuck and roll vinyl ! holy crap me and my brother about crapped our pants anyway we were riding our bikes one warm Southern California day and pulled up to the local Plymouth show room and there inside was a brand new lime green AAR Cuda !! holy crap we were stoked. Im 67 now and have been building models when they only cost $ 1.75-2.50 since the 60s i gota say this is an absolute awesome build and very inspiring ! I have this kit waiting to start . As we used to say back then when someone did something realy cool , i say to you "Way da hang"
So true Joseph! And you talking about the Schwinn bikes brought it all together. Thank you so very much for the great memories!!! I'm 9 years younger so I remember the models at $2.49 and up. Aaaaaaaaa, the good ol' days 🙂
@@THROTTLEPOWER absolutely ! You get it , that's awesome . Me and my brother 5-6th grade sitting in our bedroom building models all weekend 😂 chores? what chores ? I can remember me my brother and a friend of ours named Bob he worked across the street at a tire shop with one guy had a brand new 67 mustang GT stock , mags , a super tune and headers got down to low 13s ! another mechanic there had a super polished Black 66 Nova sat high but not sky higher than stock , chrome straight front axle , roll bar , cragar mags and fat Slick's and a big block Chevy with a crazy cam 🤯! And it was a street car ! So anyway like a lot of us I literally grew up , up to my eyeballs in crazy cars ! I learned a lot a whole lot about cars building models . Anyway when I get to my high school years I drove a 67 Torino 390 GT fastback which I totaled bummer . I ended up working a machine shop building spaceships and car stuff too as a matter of fact did a lot of stuff for Hooker headers , one time I made parts for formula 1, literally yes formula 1 ! I was only in high school and it wasn't lost on me how bitch'n an opportunity that was and no I never ever went to school bragging about how cool the job I had even though a lot of kids thought they were cool lol . My friend Bob went to work at Hilborn Injection under Gene Adams . I'm so grateful that I grew up in an era with the muscle cars that were there then . And my friend Bob , turned out to be a pretty famous engine builder he's been in all the hot rod , car craft magazine Rodders Journal , his shop to this day is called McRray Performance here Orange County California . My point being to this long post is that I'm super stoked and I know that a lot of other people back then had this pretty much close to the same things going on around them as far as car stuff goes . Anyway have a good one .
Very nice build,, can I ask, did you use a 0.3 needle or 0.5..? I noticed your spray pattern was narrowed, and for me, I don't like the spray lines it leaves. I'm looking for a wide spray pattern.

Im doing this exact build at the moment. What paint did you use on the washer bottle exterior? Was it a thinned white or some type of clear white?
I used thinned white. 🙂
Man, you sure like doing things the hard way!
Another masterpeice. Just needed the master's hand.

You are doing a great job, keep it up!
Welcome to my channel..! Thank you for watching. 😀
Wirklich eindrucksvoll.
Sweet! I wish I had one in 1/1 scale.
Spectacular build!
Very nice paint on that .
Professional
Thank you for watching. 🙂
Awesome job 👍🏿

I use 0.3 needle for most of my painting. When I use 0.5 needle, I only use clear when I want to spray wet.
Just found you and subd! Great channel and builds!
올(A) 아메리칸(A) 레이싱(R) 베이비!!!
Masterpiece
Thank you. 🙂
Great work, but the spray lines destroy the whole picture!
Very nice , extremely Classy.🥀
Great build, very nice! What tool did you use to scribe around window trim?
It is nail silicon tool.

Fantastic build, recently found your channel. Your painting is beautiful!! Quick question, what size needle are you using in your airbrush?
0.3 I'm using.
Thank you for watching.
Great build. What kind of tape did you use for guiding the scribing of window trim?
Illinois? Why bother then, The guy won't keep it for long, Someone will steal it. Illinois is a hot place 😄
Yeah, like gone in 60 seconds! 🤣🤣🤣
How much do you thin the clear coat?
I'm trying to make it as thin as possible.
In the case of this vehicle, applied 2 coats to reduce the difference in decal steps.
@@sbf109 okay thank you for answering 👍
👍👍👍👍
🙂
👏👏👏👏
Thank you 😁
You lost me at pearl Magenta. How is that beige color over black, becomes purple
