Great understanding and explanation of magnesium. Misleading bit about Vitamin D and no discussion of vitamin D deficiency. interesting that she appears to understand the system in re to magnesium but not vitamin D or the relation of Vitamin D to Magnesium except for the rare cases of D toxicity and mega dosing. Take 5000 IUs of D and 150 MG of Magnesium Glycinate 2x per day. Dont take calcium. Add magnesium threonate if you can afford it. Love the science in this but dont like the weird recommendations or confused recs.

Besides recommending not magnesium oxide, do you have any positive recommendations? Magnesium threonate or glycinate, perhaps? Any comments in how quickly or completely those cross out of the GI tract into the blood stream?
Also, magnesium threonate is known for easily passing across the blood-brain barrier. Is there any research to indicate that magnesium does this well, too?

I’m confused about what amount of vitamin D is too much where it should targeted with magnesium. Is 10K too much or are see talking about the megadoses like 20K-50k.

Please do not take 20,000 - 50,000 IU of Vitamin D without a doctor. 🙏 Actually prescription starts just over 5,000. Kudos for being proactive about monitoring your Vitamin D, not enough people do, and the majority of people are deficient. But on the other extreme, there is actually such a thing as too much Vitamin D as well and that is very dangerous -and best to get a blood measure. My doctor targets 45-60 in the blood results. My family takes 2000-2500 per day.

I'm all for magnesium and know enough about certain fluorides to be against it, but listing ppis and all, is somewhat like showing used needles being a hazard and then listing needle factories and hospitals as issues because they use them.
