- A330 Landing at Orlando International Airport | Pilot’s Perspective on Flying During Hurricane Season
Ever wondered what it’s like to land an Airbus A330 at Orlando International Airport (MCO) during hurricane season? In this video, we take you inside the cockpit for a first-hand pilot’s perspective! Watch as we break down the approach into MCO, explaining each step of the flight, from descending into Florida's airspace to lining up with the runway.
Hurricane season presents unique challenges for pilots, and we dive into how rapidly changing weather patterns, windshear, and turbulence affect the landing approach.
As always sit back and enjoy!

Butter landing..Happy Birthday to the Captain..Welcome to MCO
I love that he replies to almost all of our comments 😊
He really engages himself with his audience, which I really appreciate. Thanks, Pascal ✌
LETS GO PASCAL UPLOADED AND ITS AT MY HOME AIRPORT!!!
Love flying here 💪🙌
@@Pascalklrawesome!!!
Lets goooooo more quality content from Pascal!
🙌🙌🙌
I live south of MCO and enjoy plane spotting from my backyard. Love seeing heavies on final approach.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. As a frequent MCO spotter I saw many of my favorite locations. Let me know next time you’re headed this way and I’ll get some photos of the buttered landing.
Sounds like a plan 🙌 thanks for watching!
Flew right over my residence. West side of Lake Baldwin which you called out.
As an aviation enthusiast this type of in-depth video is an absolute treat. Thank you!
Also loved the views of Kennedy.
Butter landing and I think the first time I've heard the callout for 6 feet
I had the same thought ^^
but is the landing even legal

Zurück mit dem "Originalen Format"! Ich finds geil!
Danke dir 💪
This is amazing to see. I used to cater eurowings at terminal C mco last year and watching this brings back memories
You flew right over my house! Yes we have some wild weather in Central Florida during the summer.
Ironically I flew the 36L visual yesterday in the sim haha, great vid tho can't wait for the next one:)
Very very smooth landing. Nice!
Love this! I always see your plane landing or taking off from my home in Orlando nearby the airport.
As always, great video !!!
🙌
Love from an ORLANDO SPOTTER! Great work, Pascal.
Hi Pascal, Love the videos, I am doing my PPL and aspire to be like you. Thanks for the great videos. Wish you all the best in your career. ❤❤
Thanks a lot 🙌 all the best for you 💪✌️
Impressive how this channel has grown so much from when I started watching at 2K
Thanks for being here since the beginning 🙌💪
Yes a new video
Thanks you for all
💪🙌
LOL you made the turn over my house, and you can see my work on the very left when you call out Lake Baldwin and Orland exec!
Awesome video! Hope to see A330s at KCMH with the new terminal!
Another great video! I absolutely love these, keep up the amazing work❤
One question, would you have time to do a Q&A in the future?
Again, thank you for putting out these awesome videos!😊
Thanks a lot! Definitely will put one up soon 💪✌️
@@Pascalklr Thank you so much, I was hoping to join a maybe live q&a because I missed the last ones and I have so many questions for you :(
Anyways, have an amazing day!
I live close to KSC, love watching you guys flying over. Safe travels back to DE.
why would you even censor the pfd and nd?
You guys flew right over where I live near Lake Baldwin. Great video! Cheers
2:17 Floridian :)
I like it when the European flights land at 18R too since it makes it for a better view than 17L! (plus terminal C is closer anyways) 😄
6:27 Proper 🤌🏽👌🏽
Welcome to Orlando. I live here and have yet to fly through terminal C.
Finally another upload
Thank you 💪
this man is so underrated ! 👨✈
Its nice that you made the video exactly 7 minutes and 57 seconds 😃😃
I'm an MCO spotter and I think i've spotted you before!
Absolutely love your videos❤
Captain nailed the landing🎉
Yap he did 💪🙌
I’m early love your videos
Thanks a lot 🙌
You are my favourite RUclipsr ❤
Thanks a lot 🙌
love your videos captain 🧑✈️🖤
Thank you 🙌
Butter smooth
I did my PPL checkride right there at Orlando Executive. I live on East Lake Toho just to the South of the airport and watch the planes fly over every day. My personal plane is based in Kissimmee but the engine is off for overhaul until the Spring so bleh... lol If the engine was on I'd say swing by and let's go. I used to go visited Germany as a young man so many times, great friends still in the Koln/Bonn area.
hey man, i was wondering if u could do a video about the books you used to learn from, more precisely the basic books from the very beginning, as i want to start learning ahead of time. Hope you can consider this and have a great day!
Why is the ADI blurred out?
oooh, terminal c
i love mco
I've fueled you guys for the last two years so many times at MCO! Its so cool to see how you guys bring the 330s in. Got to flight school and just got my PPL... hope to join the aviation community in the next few years! Awesome video.
im gonna fly discover soon out of orlando hopefully ur the one flying
Servus Pascal freue mich schon auf das Video
Hoffe es gefällt dir 🙌
@@Pascalklr sehr geil wie immer
hahaha man i know charles thats the gate guy waving at you🤣🤣
Super nice video as always! May I ask why you blur out the displays? PFD and ND etc?
Thanks for this Video
Hope you liked it 💪
Aww - I was really hoping the runways were running to the north for this flight. That flight pattern takes planes behind my house at 6000 feet. 185R is nowhere near my house though.
Butterrrrrrr❤
Great one by the captain 💪🙌
cool video!
Glad you enjoyed it🙌
Watching from Dean rd with my 7yo son that wants to be a pilot
You should use the RayBan Meta sunglasses to record the cockpit. It would give us a better angle rather than the camera on top of your head. By the way, I’m currently studying the ATPL, and I truly love your videos.
Good idea! Thank you very much. But aren’t they only recording videos up to one minute ? ✌️
They record 3 minutos, enough to give a real perspective from the cockpit. But anyway keep doing this videos 🙌🙌🙌
Please review toliss a330neo for xplane
Very nice Video. Did you ever flew the Frankfurt - Anchorage flight?
Yes I did🙌 it was amazing ✌️
@@Pascalklr wow cool! When do you say Speedcheckt before doing the Flaps or After the Flaps are set?
@@BlueMcGuy before
PF- Flaps __
PM- speed checked, flaps __
How far away from the destination airport do they usually tell you your *definite* landing runway? There are airports with 4 or more runways in use. How often does it happen that they unexpectedly assign you a different runway than expected?
Why do you blur out the PFD and MFD?
does anyone know the exact time stamp for the touchdown? it was so smooth, I can‘t regocnize it
why is the PFD and the NAV display pixelated?
Really liked this style.
You mentioned that the ATH was turned off when the AP was turned off, but then shortly after went into managed speed. What's the reason for managed speed if ATH was turned off?
About to get typed in the 320, so currently learning systems. Appreciate the help!
If it's gusty you increase your approach Speed, and you set it on the FCU so you have the Triangle on your desired Speed
@@Jannik_Stein That makes sense. However, they went to managed speed. Is there any benefit to managed speed w/out auto thrust?
@@Hydro1997 like I said, you can set your desired approach speed and it will geht shown on the Speed Tape
@@Jannik_Stein I get that but that's not what happened in the video. I'm asking what other reasons are there
Hi Pascal! Just wondering about the “six” rather than “five” callout, do you know why it was changed in this aircraft?
That depends on the sink rate approaching the runway. ✌️
This approach heads directly over Sanford Airport as well which strikes me as odd. Why is that?
Love the vid. I'm thinking of becoming a pilot. do you advise it?
Can literally see my house from there
I've had several flights back from Europe to MCO and lots of times we fly a pretty standard route down the east coast till we drop off the coast of Georgia, then we hug the coast line offshore till we come in over KSS, why is that?
There are checkpoints
hello at 3:14 you said atc do not want you to intersept the GS .why atc would not want you to intesept the GS ?
are you a part of the marketing team on discover airlines so you can get permission to film in the cockpit?
Hi Pascal, I'm 13 and have had a lesson on exercise 4 on the cessna 172, what is the first airliner you recommend for me to fly first?
Any airliner you can get a first job on is a win 💪🙌
@@Pascalklr I think I should maybe go for an airbus, as you said in one of your other videos about Boeing vs Airbus due to the advanced fly by wire and no MCAS on the 737 max lol
@@PilotKDshorts the aircraft really is the last you consider when getting a job as a pilot
I live in Orlando
What a great place to life 🙌
length is 7:57. nice
Was bedeutet managed Speed?
@@Jannik_Stein alles klar danke
I've heard that a comment for a video should have not lass than "X" letters in order to get better positioning of channel. Hope it's enough!
bro flew over my house
if you landed at 36R you could've seen my house :(
Same - just off of Narcoossee. I was hoping to see it in the video.
@ im 10min away from narcoosee hahaha, boggy creek over here
Hello! Is mr. Pascal going to get married tomorrow? I hope someone will notice my comment. 😢
Does he speak Cebuano? A dialect in the Philippines?
Has he visited the Philippines?
Amazing how many of these foreign airlines allow all this media and filming in the cockpits during flight. Not allowed on US carriers thankfully.
STAR (Standard terminal arrival route ) , SID ( Standard Instrument Departure)
Why did you blur out your PFD and ND?
