Flight must have approached from the south, I use to live in Orlando in 1979 and a favorite activity I had was parking across the freeway just north of MCO and watch the Eastern/Delta TriStars fly right over my head as they were about to land. Also saw a lot of DC-10's and 727's come in. Fun, unforgettable days.
Yeah, they closed that off after 9/11. Blamed security, but really the issue for years had been vice at this spot at night. 9/11 gave them an excuse. I miss being able to sit there and watch then roar over you super low.
Orlando is my most favourite place on the planet this brings back so many memories can't wait till we land September!!!!! Been a very long time coming 😬😁🇺🇲
I flew in from the UK to Orlando last October on a 747. As we neared the Florida coast, I could clearly see in the distance the NASA assembly building at the Kennedy Space Centre and guess what? The aircraft literally flew right over KSC! I could spot launchpads, buildings even the SpaceX building. Stunning views, and a week later I was in KSC itself. Made the whole holiday flying over that!
Many years ago, before 9/11, I flew with a friend in a Cessna 172 to the Space Center and got clearance to land on the Shuttle runway. It seems to go on forever from the ground view!

The absolute greatest honor I had was to ride and actually fly the F-15. Air Traffic Controller (ZAB) and commercial pilot I was honored to participate as an FAA representative on an ALTRV from KHMN to KBAD. Departing HMN Southward toward Austin out over the Gulf of Mexico to fifty miles North of Cuba, East to eighty miles off the West coast of Florida head North and engage the US Navy’s F-14’s in ACM. Navy lost! Land at KBAD and overnight there. Then, next day, I was afforded a super privilege of actually flying the F-15 from wheels up including, throttle, flight controls, radio comm with KBAD approach and ZHU ZAB ARTCC’s and KHMN approach. Was also allowed to perform three touch and goes then a landing to a full stop. What an aircraft the F-15 was. A lot more maneuverability and wide range of operational airspeed than my PA-28-235. Very stable and a real pleasure to fly. Most G’s I pulled on my own were 5 G’s while in the traffic pattern at KHMN. The touch and goes and full stop were butter smooth like in this video. The pilot, during ACM, we did 6.5-7 G’s briefly. (1988)
One of my biggest fears is heights, but I want to be a pilot lol. It makes no sense but I hope one day I will outgrow it. Anyway awesome video and landing 😁

Abhiram was laughing in the aircraft, cause he thinks about how he would try to do the fucking things he could do just like that with his Red Bull Energy Drink during the NBA team!!!! 1:01
I don't feel fear of heights as long as I'm enclosed in a perfectly good airplane. But I also have a fear of heights yet love to fly -- except in blinding storms and high turbulence, that is.
Flown into and out of MCO many times. I can't remember ever seeing it so empty. Usually aircraft are waiting at the hold to enter onto the runway for takeoff and many others are taxiing around the airport.
The lake at 2:00 mins is East Lake Toho in St. Cloud Fl we’re I run along the path every afternoon even when it’s in the 90s. The planes that I like to see when they fly overhead are the Virgin Atlantic flights from England.
It would be nice if a compass directional indicator could be placed at the top of these videos. It would help us amateur navigators to identify the landscape. That is my sole interest in watching these videos.
Landings are so easy in good conditions. The automation can land the plane in these conditions. Not sure that is a good thing, gotta keep the pilots sharp!
I just stumbled upon this video and think it's awesome! I haven't looked at your video stream yet but could you post one landing at MCO from the North? Thanks!

Jacob Galipeau I know what it means, but McCoy doesn’t exist, and 99% of daily travelers have never even heard of it. The title to this video says MCO Orlando International Airport. I’m guessing that depicts it from all the other airports in the world 😂. I’m a pilot by the way
@@jacobgalipeau6872 It's a carry over from when it was McCoy Air Force Base. All the other airports are adding Orlando to their name so they can attract more Orlando passengers.
I heard that when McCoy air force base closed, it was turned into the international airport. When the new terminal was built, they retained the name McCoy (MCO) to designate Orlando International Airport. I guess that was easier than choosing a new name, which would probably require a new three letter designation.
Feather touch down. The windshield wiper needs some TLC. It looks as if the rust has worked its way through the entire mechanism. The airport? One plane on the ground. If that was a former Air Force base, looks like a waste of government tax dollars.
It just looks deceiving from that perspective, Orlando is spread out and is definitely a busy airport. I believe its #1 in Florida and top 10 in the US
I love 757s. They stand so high off the ground, and they're long. There's something really cool about those unique characteristics.
There's nothing I love more than being on a plane and having it land safely!

Is there really any other viable option?
Like the old says, taking off is optional, landing is mandatory.@@alanhuff3417
