Nice camp mate like the old low slung hammock . Might be worth grabbing a headtorch with the red light function. Noticed on my last camp even my low white setting stood out fairly . Apparently reds meant to be more stealthy and help maintain night vision 🤔 . Anyway take it easy man 👍 ( by the way I'm skint to 🤣)

As for percent of it all let look at our side of the fence. if you like on this side of the pond we have so many trees and places to hid that a lot of people see what you do and say things that is so out of place. For us to hide in plane site we did to go to a city to do it. One last thing how about one of those tri-tents so you can hide high in the trees. In Joy mate
Just a bit of advice about using a cam net, to avoid any straight lines use different lengths of wood an use as poles some long some short there is no right or wrong ways to do this but the cam net will appear more natural and don't make the net to tight this again makes it move more natural with its surroundings. as you mentioned mate the straight lines is what gives away but great set up,,I have just bought a coyote 111 for me and the wife, have had some great reviews about it so I wondered what you think about it and have ya used it.

I think to make it a 100% stealth camp you need to start wearing camo face paint 😂. Like lots of comments, I know how bad feeling skint is. Hit nail on head about uniforms! being stealthy is surprisingly easy really Dan , me and the Mrs quite often sit and have a cuppa in the woods next to a busy path near us at the reservoirs , dozens of people walk past and haven`t got a clue we`re there even though we`re only about 20ft away!! , they usually get aggy and shout abuse at their dog who knows 100% that we are there! moral of the story = dogs are clever and people are stupid p.s you`ve just convinced me that i need a camo net though , even though my hammock and tarp are in camo colours that net REALLY breaks up the lines on your eye
great video mate. just a word of caution. if there are dog walkers in the area, the dog will be drawn to the scent of cooked food, thus maybe exposing the camp. i would suggest cooking the food when darkness falls, reducing the risk of contact. kind regards.
Dan remember everything earth tone tans browns green all work and while mixed together .stove idea is great we used esbit in a hole for complete stealthcant leave saugage overnight and also have to use them .your skin skim never heard it put that way but ? Ah dont pay attention to him we all have short times !..medical expense kids family stuff . Videos take some money .oh by the way ppl out in bright light have a hard time seeing in the dark forrestlol one last thing I f you pull grass tie in middle and drape it here and there it will break it up
I understand being skint. I retired so that I could spend my time out in the wilds. I don't have much money, but it works. Nothing wrong with running out of month before running out of money. A person just makes it work. You are enjoying yourself and that is what matters. Life is about more than money. Nice stealth set up. Your sense of humor is great. Your videos have made me give a lot of thought to eating better when I am camping!
A great vid. Really like it when you do a solo. Really good to hear your thought processes to minimise being seen by dog walkers on the path and the farmer including, adopting a solo camp, low profile setup, small flame cook system and timing of pitch. When you make allowances for the fact that that it takes effort and time to film, I would say 10/10. Finally, money doesn't grow on trees and family, work and hobbies takes a lot of financial juggling before next pay day. Fully understand what skint means. 😂

I have noticed that all of your camping videos are of you alone or with your camping buddies! Don’t you ever go camping with your family! Taking your wife or children camping can be a much more rewarding experience along with many life lasting memories especially for your kids!! You should definitely take your children out camping with you! If not for you then at least for them! So many memories to be had cooking and hanging out around the fire!! It creates such a family bonding experience that your children are missing out on!! Don’t let it slip away because you can never create those rewarding life experiences later on and your kids are only young once!

I reckon you achieved a good 85-90% stealth there chap, it must be a complete pain in the bum to try to film and be stealthy at the same time. 100% would probably mean full camo, no light and a cold picnic tea and thats no fun lol

You could have stuck some of that long grass into the camo netting to help eliminate more of the lines of the tarp set up.
