- First time beach camping in my oex phoxx 1 v2 backpacking tent.
This beach camping video is like a stealth camp but not a stealth camp.
UK beach camping is something I have always wanted to try! As I'm on holiday at one of the biggest UK holiday parks
( primrose valley ) I could not miss out on this opportunity to try out beach camping,
As this is the first time beach camping I was very unsure what equipment to use or even if I could pitch a tent in the sand. so I pitch my oex phoxx 1 v2 lightweight backpacking tent up on a Small ledge over looking the sea front.

What an ace camp! You did nothing but smile all the way through and clearly enjoyed every minute of it. You can't beat the North Yorkshire coast, some of the best resorts in the country in my opinion. Would love to see you and Scott out on the coast again at some point, baybe Lincolnshire in the sand dunes?

Great stealth camping video as usual Dan. Only tip I could give you is to use red light setting on torch if it has one as coloured light does not travel as far as white light.

I love OEX . Used a lot of Vango in the past but have to say they are not as good. OEX tent never have condensation problem ..stove fast sleeping bags and mats comfy......and are reasonable in price ...totally with you Dan

The best tent to have for coastal camping is the oex bobcat. You can sit up in it facing the beautiful scenery ..😊

Hey Dan if you can make it to Anglesey try a beach camp at Newborough. Its epic and the big pine forest comes right down to the beach so there's loads of seasoned wood & you can nestle in the dunes so no one will even see your fire, not that there's anyone there anyway after about 18:00
The water's clean enough to eat the limpets, mussels & razor clams that abound there too.
I really enjoyed your birthday camping adventure on the beach. Definately one of the best. Happy birthday !

Dont know how i missed this one. Looks like you had a cracking birthday. I like beach camping, camped for a whole week in Dorset on the beach with the family. It was epic, catch and cook on the beach as well.
