Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC813 Unboxing

Four new solar chronographs inspired by the 1969 Speedtimer are now available. Powered by Caliber V192, they offer a 24-hour indicator, a time of day seconds hand, a 60-minute chronograph in a sub-dial at six o’clock, and a power reserve function.
They are offered in four different dial colors; white, navy, gold, and black and will join the main Prospex collection.
The dial is applied sandblast finishing which ensures high levels of readability and legibility crucial to a Prospex sports watch.
The case shape is faithful to the original but its 39mm diameter, the combination of hairline and smooth polishing on the bracelet, and the curved sapphire glass bring it right up to date.

I will let you know as soon as I get the blue dial in a couple of days..perfect timing since I was about to pull the trigger on the Quartz Grand Seiko GMT 39mm (I know is not the same but as far as case size and sport looks, it's a far better deal)

I'd prefer female endlinks. And the two micro adjust holes might make it difficult for a good fit.

Comes in a different box than this, yes. We only use this box for filming as the regular boxes are down in our fulfilment center :)

Subdials are black or blue?

Good question! Short answer is: depends on the light.
The longer answer is: Seiko builds their SOLAR panels in a special material. In low to no light, it will appear dark/black, but in more light and direct sunlight it will look blue.
We asked Seiko directly and this is the answer they gave us :)
