jlcinternet, Not really sir. It is also sad to see so much meat being wasted here as well. It's like throwing away more than half of the bull's meat. What a waste. I'm more okay when someone really hunt for the meat to survive like the native people did in the old days rather than people just hunt for fun today. It's really unfair to the animal and that's how the bison disappeared when these white settlers came.

Thank you. And for the other comments ALL meat was taken, some organs, and the cull fat. This hunt was for the meat! As a hunter I always hope to take a mature animal.

Congratulation for what? Killing a big bison just for the horn and throwing away more than half of the bison's meat is considered okay for most white hunters? What a waste. That's how these beautiful bison disappeared when the white settlers came. It would be more okay if someone hunt the animal for the meat to survive like those native people did in the old days. Think about it. Just like when someone's trying to shoot you because they want to steal your Nike Shoes.

This is the same hunt. We released the Day-by-Day Series last year, and this is a Fresh Tracks episode. The Fresh Tracks episodes take longer to edit, and we incorporate more music, storytelling, conservation, and other things into these "Fresh Tracks" episodes. Day-by-days are linear and about how the hunt plays out with little to no music, no interviews, minimal color corrections, and are meant to be more raw, giving the audience a feeling of being on the hunt with the host. We have found that some people like to see the hunt play out in multiple episodes (Day-by-Day) and some people really enjoy everything in one episode (Fresh Tracks Episodes). So we do both! Typically Day-by-Days come out first as they take less time to edit. Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for watching and supporting Fresh Tracks!
