Oh. My. I miss Holmes County Ohio, my homeland. Thank you for filming your travels. I wouldn’t have recognized Keim Lumber. My last time in Charm, I stopped at a farm to buy someone’s lovely needlework and, while my sister perused the goods, the man of the house entertained me by playing hymns on his harmonica. Fond memories. Again, thank you.
Oaklynn was so adorable getting her coat and boots on to go outside. Those sweet giggles were so cute!

I love it when you drive around and show the landscape with all of the farms and rolling hills. Every time I look at Oaklynn and watch her run and talk I am just amazed. It doesn’t seem like she is almost 2 years old. I thought her pushing the little grocery cart was just precious. Enjoy seeing all of your family and have a safe trip home.

Lynette, I’m so enjoying your trip to Holmes County. I’m 69 now, and unable to visit there any more. My husband and I travelled there on our honeymoon. We’ve been to Hillcrest orchard many times as well as DerDutchman Restaurant and of course Walnut Creek Cheese. I love Charm, it’s always been one of my favorite towns. I have so many great memories of our trips there. Thank you for helping me to remember them! God bless!

Beautiful, just beautiful visit at stores, and family. The prayer at the end did my heart good. Thank you. I really enjoyed that. I have always enjoyed and appreciated the Amish and Mennonites. With all the heart breaking changes in our world I needed that precious tour and simplenessness and family get togethers. Blessings

My husband lived in Chuckey and went to high school at Chuckey Doak High. My in-laws lived in Greenville TN. SMALL WORLD!
My friends(Don & Debbie Schrock) and I spent the day in Holmes County the Friday before Thanksgiving. Our first stop was Unity Hill Cemetery where some of Don's family is buried. Then we went to Sugar Creek Road to see the house his Dad grew up in - called Schrock Hill. Next stop was Walnut Creek Cheese. We live near Youngstown and over the decades I have taken frequent trips there where I buy too much!! Spent too much again!! Passed your old school about the time rit was letting out, went to a comedy Christmas show and ended up eating supper at Der Dutchman. I love Walnut Creek products.
My dad grew up just up the road from Hillcrest. Best cider. Ever !! He went to Walnut Creek elementary that you passed in this video.

We make about 2 trips a year to Keim. We live in Hartville. Also we shop at Walnut Creek Cheese when we visit Amish Ctry B&Bs. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My grandparents moved to FL permanently about 10 years ago, but even my grandparents agree there is no place like Ohio. My grandpa only shopped in Amish Country when they lived in Ohio. Some of the best EVERYTHING you can buy! Food, Furniture, Decor!

We love the Amish country. When we could travel we would go to Pa. at least twice a year. Never made it toOhio. The food and shops are just too good to try and describe. Can almost tastes the food as you go through the stores.
We went to Holmes County in October to stay for one night at the dwell box! It was so fun watching your video and seeing places we went to! Maybe sometime you could do an “off the beaten path” video, with maybe some of your favorite thrift stores? We plan to go back again next fall, and it would be fun to check out that versus the more touristy spots! 🖤 also, could you ask your mother-in-law what green she used on her kitchen island? It was gorgeous! And I think I want to paint mine the same color 🤣

I'm from rural NW Ohio but my home town has ties to Walnut Creek through a store. The store is not Amish but its stocked with food goods from the Amish. Also my family goes down once a year just to go down

Absolutely loved this video….. I always enjoy you driving thru the towns and give us a peek. It’s been a couple years….but the Ohio area was our favorite to go. I recognized lot of the places. We’ve been to Keim and I agree it’s a very huge store…. So nice. I was looking for ideas to redo my kitchen and loved to browse. And of course we’d fill our baskets with things from Walnut Creek. Mostly, the singing right before the Thanksgiving meal was special. Your voices blended in harmony that i love. And the prayer…. So sweet and humble. I just said to myself…. I think I could fellowship with these people very easily. This brought tears to my eyes. Love your family…. Bless you all and your precious gift you are carrying.
