Oh my goodness, I am a 78 year old great grandma who laughed out loud during this episode. First at your mother learning to ride the trike and then at the cake party. What fun! You are so brave. There is no way in this world that I would have gotten on that “ride”. Your family is precious. Thanks for sharing your life with us. I, for one, have enjoyed every episode.
That cake smash was wonderful. Lexie crying and the guys making a huge mess and having fun. I loved it. Thank you for sharing. Not a waste of food at all. That was a priceless family memory. ❤️
I am a 65 yr old grandma. This was so funny and so cute!! Your husband alexander looked like something probably some people in our family would do. Happy 1st Birthday Lexi!!!! There is something about that age they just don't like to be dirty and goopy . I have four children and I remember this age my first one was my picky one. And the bike riding oh my goodness that was too funny. Way to go to your mom and dad. I just have to say I thoroughly love your channel your heart, Your heart for the Lord, family everything. I've seen the somber, take life so seriously all the time Christians that can never laugh at themselves or life in general and I've often felt that's not what God is asking of us. Well, It seems the boys had a better first birthday than the baby. So fun to see Nolan & Zander together. Zander with no front teeth !! Glad you & the girlfriends had a good time. Your Mom is adorable. She didn't give up, though.
Enjoyed this immensely!! The cake smash getting out of hand reminds me so much of my husband and sons and then the little one, who the cake smash was meant for, is crying in terror like I imagine my 1 year old doing. lol

Your mom learning to ride the trike had me in stitches! I don’t usually laugh out loud at videos but wow😅 that was soooo funny, and the comments she was making😂 Glad she was willing to let us in on the fun! I know I’d be terrible at driving that thing! Soon she’ll be zooming everywhere on it!

Lexi is just adorable, she’s a mini Nolan, such cute photographs. Not a waste of food at all, 50% of the family had great fun with the cake - it does your heart good to see Nolan and Xander messing around. Xander is a great help and growing up so fast. Teaching your Mom to ride a trike was just so much fun and she looked like she had a ball.

Hello Janine. I can honestly say that I laughed so loudly that my dogs were perplexed. Your mother is a trooper! But I laughed at the ditch drama. Love your garden; I’m never happier than when I’m in my garden. The cake smash was hilarious, poor Lexi didn’t know what to think, but the men of the family sure do enjoy a good ole cake smashing. Once again, my dogs were surprised to see how hard I was laughing. I’m glad you had such a lovely time with your friends. You’re right, we need to keep our relationships cultivated. Zander is a great helper! My baby goes and feeds the orioles and catbirds their grape jelly every day. 😊They get a miniscule amount so that it doesn't get eaten by every other thing.
Oo i wish I could have orioles. They are so pretty! And I agree with the creatures of habit thing. I can get so stuck in a rut!
