As to why Spongebob could sleep through the music. I personally think he's a very heavy sleeper, hence why he has a foghorn alarm clock.
He confirms in a later episode, that the foghorn alarm clock is the only thing that can wake him up
It must be said there are literal Spongebob Raves & Parties thrown at clubs because of that Jellyfish Jam episode, so the cultural impact of Spongebob is honestly so crazy and fun to me.
Love that Boom called "The Telltale Heart."
Seeing this episode brought up memories. The Rocket and the Boots episode. Had a "smell-o-vision" version. You could pick up a scratch and sniff card from any grocery store and the episode would tell you when to sniff each section of the card as the episode played. I remember Squidward's "egg sack" and the boots getting fried as two sniff moments.

Squidward was always my favourite, mainly because i didn't start watching until the infamous "Squidward torture porn era" so I always felt bad for him. And I felt his pain because when i was a kid I was just dead serious and had absolutely no tolerance for people like SpongeBob

Squidward is the definition of when you're a kid you side with the kid and when you're an adult you side with the adult
I dunno, I thought Spongebob was pretty annoying as a kid. But as an adult, it's obvious the way it's written, Spongebob is just a well meaning idiot. And usually Squidward tries to take advantage of Spongebob's naivete in some way. And usually it ends up blowing up in Squidward's face. Sure, there are some episodes where the sentiment that Squidward is just cynical and trying to be left alone is true. But most of the episodes, Squidward projects elitism and purposely tries to sabotage people and pays for it in the end.

The acron patch IS apart of Sandy's suit but it doesn't appear till season 2 when the art style changed. Just like how Sandy's tail isn't out of her suit right now either but come S2, it's always out of her suit

I love how the topic of SpongeBob's feet keeps getting brought up. This really is one of the few Nick shows that didn't follow the Schneider trend of feet = "funny" (probably due to the lack of child actors)
The guy was a total creep, SpongeBob, The fairy Oddparents, Jimmy neutron, Danny phantom, and so many more didn't follow him.

The hall monitor episode has always been one of my favorites. There are a handful of things from SpongeBob that I quote almost daily and “ IN THE HALL!” is one of them.

Despite overthinking each episode, the fault mostly lies with SpongeBob. He's a working adult that has his own property and pet that he cares for.
Squidward is the most relatable character
It kinda feels wrong to say he's relatable when his elitism and narcissism are turned up to a comedic degree and displayed every episode. Similar to Mr. Krab's greed. None of the character are relatable really, maybe Sandy is the most?

Growing up people called me Squidward because of my personality 😂 I’ve always been an old curmudgeon but I loved every character in Spongebob because they are all just so funny in their own ways.

Actually, i've had my share of exposure to loud as truck music playing through a whole day and i can say, might be psychological, but it seems the closer you are "less loud" it feels. Maybe your senses get used to it? maybe it's so loud it numbs you brain? but Loud music seems way more annoying when you are a few meters away than a few steeps near
