This movie is awesome. So glad you finally reacted to it. The part where ralph destroys the car still makes me cry. This movie really pulls at heart strings.
I posit that Ralph was only in danger of dying permanently if he was in a game that got unplugged. There was no programmed mechanism for Ralph to die; all that could happen to him was getting tossed off the building, which just knocked him out. Same thing with Calhoun: she was an NPC who never took actual damage and couldn't get eaten by the Cy-bugs as she guided the 1st-person shooter through the game. Felix, however was in real danger of dying permanently outside of his own game.
3:01 actually, Zangief is not a bad guy on the Japanese versions of Street fighter, they make him a villain on the US version just because he's Russian, on the Japanese he's just neutral, same on the Anime movies (Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter II and Street Fighter IV) but on the US Cartoon Show and US live action movie they make him part of Shadowloo
Its a shame they never this movie never got a sequel. Hopefully they make one that doesn't disregard every single basic rule established in the first one.
My favorite part of this movie as a kid was trying to spot every reference i could find and try to recognize every character, and also trying to spot every Sonic The Hedgehog cameo
The reveal of King Candy/Turbo, and Vanellope being the princess of the Sugar Rush game, has always made me wonder if “King Candy” was ever an actual character that Turbo killed. Could he have been like an actual father to Vanellope at one point, but then Tutbo came in, killed him, and then usurped the position and rewrote the code? Or did he just claim the title “King”, even though Vanellope’s title of Princess was the highest in the game, know what I mean? If it’s the former, then in a way, Turbo’s just wearing the skin of Vanellope’s late father, or necromancy, reanimating him and playing the role. The Mentos Beacon finally put him out of his misery. That’s my personal headcannon anyway.
I remember there is an actually a way to play Fix It Felix, Sugar Rush and Turbo online for either PC or Mobile In a sorta game collection of the three but I have no idea if they’re still up. Disney and Pixar even went as far to make actual playable Fix It Felix Jr Arcade cabinets! Edit: Just looked it up and yes, you can actually play the real Fix It Felix Jr game from the movie either on the Wreck It Ralph website or online emulators for PC or mobile.
Interesting to note: Director Rich Moore (of The Simpsons) humorously mentioned at 2012 San Diego Comic-Con that he remembers being at his desk being pushed one paper after another from various video game companies to get permission to use these familiar characters to appear in his movie. Formula: Toy Story + Who Framed Roger Rabbit = Wreck-It Ralph!
Good news Boom, I’ve heard the Zangief thing is only partially true, it was more of a localization issue. He’s actually a rather sweet guy outside of the ring. Anyway, yeah, if not for Emperor’s New Groove, this would be my favorite Disney movie.

@@TitaneRam I stand in the middle. I think the lessons taught in the sequel were far more unique and rare than in the first, and I respect that. I just really wish they could have made that work without messing with the characterization of the main characters and basically spitting on some of the cardinal rules established, with clear good reasons, in this movie. Things like "It's bad to abandon your game and go Turbo just because you don't like where you are right now" Vanellope literally becomes Turbo/King Candy in the sequel and everyone is fine with it. Well, other than the code altering.

The scene where he wrecks her car had me BAWLING when I was little, it like every memory I've ever had of something precious to me being taken/broken by someone else flashed through my mind. Also, the reveal of the King being Turbo literally shook me to my core. Like usually a character gives you vibes that they're the villain pretty early on, but TURBO??? It was crazy seeing this again.
We see in this movie that Vanellope can learn to control her glitching, so I don't understand why Ralph didn't help her learn how to get a better hold on it so she'd be safe to play the main game.
We also see in the movie that her glitching was always a part of her. If Vanellope can control her glitching just fine, then why would Ralph need to teach her anything in the first place??? Plus, it was already proven her glitching was never gonna be a problem in the main game and she was always gonna be safe to play.
@@someoneelseishere5964 Well when he first met her, it was evident that it wasn't something she could control very well. She didn't purposefully glitch herself into the mentos. She figured it out herself later on, I just think Ralph taking the time to help her would've sped it up and been a better idea than smashing her cart and forcing her to watch.

Personally my favorite version of Zangief is the one in Street fighter 6. He's just such a total bro.
I love that 6 fully shows that he is well read as a hobby & that they made the outfit from that art an alt costume you can wear
One of my favorite Disney films of the Revival Era! The amount of video game references, pop culture gags, great characters, and a very well executed plot twist villain makes Wreck-It Ralph a great time.
This movie is everything to me! Fun fact: Nintendo was very picky on how Bowser was shown for the movie from the ball spitting to holding his cup
Everyone should check out a video made by Randomalistic about how King Candy/Turbo is a GOATed villain.
Made me appreciate this movie I already loved even more.
I liked that Callohaun....man what a woman.....also voiced by Jane Lynch too, man Felix you lucky son of a glitch!
God, when he ruins her car
Every little piece of it is heartbreaking
The animation not even showing it to us, the music, her voice acting
6:54 I don't think Gene says the N-word, but only because he "isn't supposed to", he'd definitely say it unironically if he could. Gene can catch deez handz.
Kinda bummed y’all cut out the “you wouldn’t hit a guy with glasses would ya” joke. That joke gets my stomach hurting
To this day I've never seen someone clock who Turbo is immediately, even though it's the same VA. 😂
Tbf his voice was warped by the arcade sound and he spoke in a different tone so it’s not that evident
@@umapessoa240 It was to me. ... Then again, my hearing is way more sensitive than most other people, so it stands to reason that I'm not the best measurement. 😂
"He went turbo on his own game" SO close 😭😭😭
There is no Wreck it Ralph sequel in Ba Sing Sé
There is no Wreck it Ralph sequel. 👁👄👁
One of my favorite Disney movies
This movie is awesome. So glad you finally reacted to it. The part where ralph destroys the car still makes me cry. This movie really pulls at heart strings.
I can't believe you guys considered that Vanellope could be Turbo, but not king Candy lmao
It was hilarious seeing all your theories about Vanellope accidentally applying to King Candy.
Except for the bit about being the daughter.
And very nearly got hiy by debris when Ralph broke into the cell.
I like the thought that Felix's hardships made him more cautious and he dodged the bricks. Character development.
A racing game where everyone has signature powers like her glitching ahead sounds genuinely so sick

During the timelapse seen you also see for a brief moment Turbo's game before being taken out of order and placing Pacman in its place.
Omg all the game villains in one room doing group therapy is incredible xD
Honestly, I kinda wish there wasn't a second one. This was a great ending.
Fun fact: In the opening scene where it shows off all of the games that came and went, you can see the TMNT arcade game.
The Turbo reveal was amazing
One of the greatest animated movie of all time. Ralph and Vanellope's interaction and the story itself is perfect
I absolutely love this movie. This was on of the last movies I saw with my dad and sister before my dad passed. 10 years is crazy
Its a shame they never this movie never got a sequel. Hopefully they make one that doesn't disregard every single basic rule established in the first one.
Yeah, that would be awful! Thankfully such a sequel to this stand-alone movie doesn't exist yet ^^
Isnt Ralph breaks the internet the sequel?

29:48 always makes me burst laughing 😂😂😂 “ I’m gonna wreck it…. dink( makes bars thicker)😂😂😂
Finally I got here early rather than late, and it is Wreck it Ralph too, this will be good
Wreck it Ralph is such a great movie, its a shame it never got a sequel
I remember there is an actually a way to play Fix It Felix, Sugar Rush and Turbo online for either PC or Mobile In a sorta game collection of the three but I have no idea if they’re still up. Disney and Pixar even went as far to make actual playable Fix It Felix Jr Arcade cabinets!
Edit: Just looked it up and yes, you can actually play the real Fix It Felix Jr game from the movie either on the Wreck It Ralph website or online emulators for PC or mobile.
0:11 Hope Ruff is ok
Interesting to note: Director Rich Moore (of The Simpsons) humorously mentioned at 2012 San Diego Comic-Con that he remembers being at his desk being pushed one paper after another from various video game companies to get permission to use these familiar characters to appear in his movie.
Formula: Toy Story + Who Framed Roger Rabbit = Wreck-It Ralph!
King Candy being shown to be Turbo, one of the greatest Villain twist reviles lol
Good news Boom, I’ve heard the Zangief thing is only partially true, it was more of a localization issue. He’s actually a rather sweet guy outside of the ring.
Anyway, yeah, if not for Emperor’s New Groove, this would be my favorite Disney movie.
This movie was a huge part of my childhood, haha :) I would play an online version of Sugar Rush, I would watch this movie late at night all the time, and even had a plush of Jubileena (the girl in red at 18:28). I still have her ❤️
22:31 If I had a dollar for every time someone theorized that Venellope was King Candy's daughter I'd have two dollars.
Such a great movie!
I love how, after resetting the game, Vanellope does away with the monarchy for a democracy only to immediately declare herself president before the campaign even starts. 😂😂
the cybug turbo genuinely scared tf outta me as a kid
Turbo is one of the best Twist Villains ever in Movie History.
39:50 they shouldn't have, that's how
Trust me they could have done it
They just decided to do it in the most least efficient way and we got, one of my least favorite Movies out of it
I personally love the sequel.
To me both movies r great 👍
@@sophiaescareno8410 i mean fair
My older sister too loved that movie and even kept rewatcging it over and over
I just feel like they were really headed somewhere and then flipped the direction without flipping the path, if you know what I mean
But still that's just my opinion and your is gonna be something different so, happy you liked it
@@TitaneRam I stand in the middle.
The one animated movie I got to watch with my grandpa 2 years before he passed away. This and Skyfall holds a special place in my heart
Man Wreck it Ralph was my childhood movie growing up. My favorite Disney movie
6:52 Gene is so universally hated 🤣
Wreck it Ralph is one of my favorite movies. I love how they showed video games references. It's surprising that King Candy is Turbo
🎮🎮🎮🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣
37:00 “SHE WORE A CROWN AND SHE CAME DOWN IN A BUBBLE DOUG!! GROW UP, DAWG! GROW UP!”
Fun fact: the chill zombie in the bad guy support group is based on one of the mob enemies in the 1990s arcade shooter game "House of the Dead. Also I belive the yellow dinosaur in the background in the surdhe protector waystation was Sauron from the arcade fighter game "Primal Rage".
You guys' theories throughout the movie were so fun to listen to
For those who haven't seen the movie yet... Spoilers ahead!

28:00 - This is a classic example from all kinds of stories. The Hero desperately believes he wants something and works hard to get it. Then he gets it - but realizes he's no happier with what he sought. Ralph thought that a medal would win him the acceptance of the town. But then he finds that acceptance he sought in Vanellope, who loves him as he is.
I gotta say, I love the pattern on your outfits and on your blankets! ❤😂👍🏻 they make me crack up every time watching your reactions!
39:54 The answer to that question is "not well". The sequel has moments but it is not good.
When I first watched this Movie as a kid I remember having nightmares for weeks with the Cy-bugs.
This is legit one of my favorite movies. It makes me cry every time!!
A shame that they never made a sequel. Yep, no wreck it Ralph 2
Heyyy, hope your day is going well so far and the rest of your week is great! ☀️I love your channel it provides me with endless laughs.😂💕
Meanwhile Ruff is lost on the shatterverse, Boom and Erik are watching Disney Movies
This is one of the best Disney movies made in a very long time. The story was clean, the foreshadowing was very well done, and the jokes were well timed
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this.
first time watch??? wowww. but man, this is one of my favorite movies. such lovable characters, really fun setting, and actually hits you in the feels. and god i wish sugar rush was a real game. i would play it.
