for the Franklin coins: 49-S, 52-S and 53-S are the dates toughest to get in FBL. I am surprised that it sold this low with the nice toning but I bet I know a good candidate for who bought it :)...(Ahem cough cough-Treasure Source... :) ))
timing is everything and u have to know when lightening will strike in this biz. I look for these coins that will bounce in my favor all the time. need to watch this like the stock market and know when to hold them or sell them is a science I learned it well. As you go up in value and the pool of buyers gets smaller and smaller these fall offs happen more and more. u need to lower the carrot to get more to grab the carrot. also buzz around coin and so many other factors.
Next week you should touch on some Peace dollars. In December you could buy a 1921 with a typical strike In MS 63 for $600 or $800 and change for a MS64 now you can't find one anywhere near that. Right now on Heratage is a MS63 at $900 with a day left, And it's not just the 21 the other semi keys are going nuts.
Very interesting results for the week. I’m guessing we will see stupid prices for the next month with this flood of stimulus money. I’ll go where the best deals take me no matter where it is ! Maybe it’s paper money maybe it’s copper or 3 cent nickels who knows hahaha 🤣 I’m definitely a Opportunistic collector
