On the 1916 mercury, could GC’s once a month return policy have impacted the original sale price? In other words, maybe the original purchaser at $4500 just returned it, and the orig seller re-offered it. Something to consider?
yeah the only item i have ever sold close to NGC/PCGS price guide value was a 2001 piece of gold that still missed the mark by 25% @ 950 final sale price of the total 1350 for a 1/4th oz of gold in ms69 -nutso
