    Wow so many interesting sales
    Washington quarters continue to be down, and Roosevelt dimes are probably the hottest series
    Crazy the difference between those 1913 Buffalos 67+ and especially the 68+ cac is just not very lustrous IMO I just don’t get it. I was way off on that one

    1885 67+ - 18,213 = 18,800 nailed it!
    1913 68+ - 28,500 = 79313 Way off 😩
    1948 67+ - 1725 = 1800 got it!
    1881s 66 - 5750 = 5170 very close
    3450 = 1762 way off

    Maybe so many beautiful high grade coins and collections coming to market is a sign that we are nearing the top of coin values. The ultra rich maybe trying to cash out while they can. What do you think? Thanks for making these videos. 👍

      I definitely think people who have sat on collections for 5+ years in a bear market are selling here. What’s noticeable is how well it’s absorbed into the market. We seem to have both increased selling and increased buying. Hard to know which will win out

    I feel like the ultra rare coin market is harder to turn a profit on in the first place. You can find 2 bidders for a $500 coin in 3 seconds I'm sure finding 2 bidders for a $200,00 coin will be much harder.

    With the two 1913 Type 1 Buffs you showcased, according to the photos, the one that sold for the $1,800 is a much better strike than the other one. The buffalo's horn is fully defined and the indian's hair is much better defined. This shows the weakness in relying on the grading services, since PCGS should not have graded these with the same grade.
    As to CAC, I personally completely ignore that sticker. It would have much more value to me if that guy would put some kind of sticker on coins that he doesn't agree with the grade. Without that, the CAC opinion is pretty much useless.

    PCGS Legends has every seated half dol. How it possible cause some year only 2 or 3 exist some not at all?

      It appeared they were all there. I’m not the most knowledgeable on seated halves. So definitely could be missing those key dates.
