i definitely want to upgrade to this phone but my 7t pro mclaren edition from t-mobile still runs like a champ even to this day! i'm going to do one last insurance swap to a get fresh unit and wait a couple of months before i pick up one of these or the 8s lol! how strong is the magnet ring on that clear case there? was thinking of getting one of those with the magnetic Razer phone cooler as a future accessory along with the Shadow blade gamepad when they come back in stock. I really liked the design of the last one, those red accents go hard with that game switch slider but too bad it's not built very well, if anything just punch the glass out and rocket as a metal bumper case
So I got the phone yesterday again and I'm really enjoying it. I was able to fix the 120 hertz dropping when the brightness goes low issue. I think it's funny how I'm obsessed with battery life. It's not like I work in a desert LOL. I work in a normal office with chargers but I think it's just a feeling of not having to use the phone with the charger stuck in it and you can't move around. I'm not really a gamer, so I wonder how many people bought this phone who are not gamers

My 2 options are titanium with transparent case or matte rm8p with an aramid fiber case or tpu grry matte case. Matte rm8p rly cheaper and is enough i guess but i love titanium version ohmygosh. lovin this phone kinda hard to justify right now cuz im saving for a gamer pc but who knows hehe😅
If you actually are buying the real aramid fiber products then I suppose you should be fine because the material may be tough buts also breathable, and no I have not had any reception issues
The OS is fine, it hasn't had many updates but I am on the July Security patch, believe or not it actually has pretty good cameras on as well as the features in it also, the battery life is still top tier, and I play the heck out of Xbox game pass on it but I do hook it up with my gamesir.

The carbon fiber is my favorite because it doesn't add much bulkiness, but it does has a rise around the camera so it protects it also. Haha you made plenty of sense.
3 to 5 days including weekends, depending on where I bought them. Most came from Nubia Mart, but I see some are on Amazon now also, I also got a couple from AliExpress.
I hate to say this but i didn't find one for this phone, i actual used a flexible screen protector for an s22 ultra and put on this phone and it works flawlessly but i did trim a tiny bit off the sides.
So far so good, I have been using it as my main phone since I got on Feb 2nd, it hasn't missed a beat, the signal has stayed strong with Google Fi, my wifi has been flying with wifi 6e and the phone is waiting on wifi 7, the battery has been the best thing since light bread 😂, I love this battery life, and all display no notch or punch hole has been great to look at and consume media with, the overall os has been a more Google Pixel style With Nubia Redmagic tweaks to make it where I don't miss my Pixel 7 Pro at all, I'm not a big camera guy but the main sensor does a good job with photos and videos, the front facing under display camera is decent but has gotten better with updates but I don't care much about a front Faceing camera anyway because I don't do selfies often, no one wants to stare at this mug all day 🤣. Basically what I'm saying is for me this is the phone of the year, hardware and software combined, and for the price it cannot be beat.

Someone on the fence here; would you say there have been any significant software bugs or deal breakers, that otherwise prevent you from using it? Really looking forward to replacing my Razer Phone 2 after 5 years, notably, replacing the battery, back glass cracking and fixing along with thermal repasting and a great vinyl skin, done all i could to hold on. The usb c port is giving out with no parts in sight, donor phones being long stripped by owners less fortunate, I can only charge wirelessly now, issues being a aftermarket battery, and attempting to top up during the day. This looks like the spiritual successor, a near Razer Phone 3. I just hope that the software is as reliable. Thank you in advance.
To me it is a great upgrade, I really don't have a primary phone, I prefer this over any of my other devices and it's not even close... Yes I do take pics on it, the software to me has not been buggy at all, for those that love updates, I have had 2 since I bought it in February, the phone design is awesome in my humble opinion, the squared off sizes with basically all screen, the speakers are on the top and bottom, and to be honest I prefer the gorilla glass 5 on here than the victus because the glass is not as soft as victus, my pixel 7 pro is scratched up horribly and Redmagic is not, yet I have not stopped either nor tried to scratch them. As much as I have gamed on here I have not felt any toasty times at all which is darn good, and the separate charge when your phone bypasses the battery and keeps the phone powered is awesome, I still wonder why no other devices do this more but a few other androids. And promise you this phone works great. It also supports wifi 7, USB 4.0, and that 6000 mah battery is 2 to 3 days if your just a casual user of the phone because this phone does not drain when not in use like some of my other phones. I am using this phone now and the battery is at 39 percent, I took it off the charger Monday around 11am and been on the move with it since then it's now Wednesday almost 6 am and literally 39 percent. I don't recommend many phones but this one has literally made me stop flip flopping phones like crazy 😀.

How is it going JC, I haven't owned a Fold 4 for I can't speak on it, but what I can tell you is I am in love with the all display on this phone. I really can't tell if it drops down to 60 hz when you turn the display down because every phone I have gotten I go into dev options and make sure my refresh rate stays at max 120 no matter what, but when I do go to bed late and stare at my phone I do turn the display down to about 50 percent but I haven't noticed a drop in screen smoothness, I will have to test that, but I think it will be hard for me to use any phone other than this one, I really don't worry about cameras but this phone does have some pretty cool settings and features that I use especially the artistic side of the camera section features, but I also have a pixel 7 Pro that I use with my other line so if I thought this RM8 Pro couldn't get what I need done which it has I would probably go and get it, but for the most part this is my primary day to day device and unless they can make a 6 in. Version of this phone with a 5k mah battery with the same design and setup there is nothing better out to me, I'm glad for the fan built in and the rgb lights on the back and headphones jack, the only thing that could make this phone completer to me is an IR blaster just because I have some of the Xiaomi devices and that changing the TV in bars while people are locked in on a sports game and seeing their faces are priceless 😂😂😂. This to me is the phone of the year to me, I just hope I can pair it up with the pixel Fold when it releases.

@@eyeslike27 go to display; show screen refresh rate; go to 120 refresh rate, then I turn off automatic, then I turn on the manual screen brightness because I don't like it adjusting for me I would much rather do it myself, and it just stays at 120 unless I change it to 90 or 60 myself.

I'm not gonna lie the titanium looks fire, but it's something about the matte finish that gets me every time.

phone is boxy and slippery, definitely need a case with some good grips.
Yeah i like most of the cases but for the grip and slim fit the aramid carbon fiber cases are the ones for me.

To be honest I don't know any of these bands but, let me do some research and see what bands they are allowed to use and see what carriers will allow them to be used. 👍
