I have this phone and knew almost nothing about it based on all the other reviews and unboxing vids, being that those were focused on the basic functions and mainly gaming performance. They rarely mentioned anything about the settings, camera, audio, or even the screen features. Great job!
Just gonna say I have this phone with the heatsink case and its a beast even when you have a full overclock on the phone. under 50c. Even iwth 3dmark stress test 2x run and its still under 50c with the heatsink case. The triggers for cod mobile work so damn well, feels like physical buttonss with haptics. Heatsink case fits gamesir(shadowblade), and gamevice. With a bit of dremeling on the flat site of the backbone it also fits with the case perfect. Without the heat sink case it obv fits everything. Only negatives is DTS, sounds good with wired headphones but it forces even bluetooth through the android mixerso for audiophile purposes its not good. USB has problem to in same capacity even with USB audio app. As for the speaker they sound really good compared to cheaper phones . Phone in NA maxes out at 65W charge.

I got the original case with the steel inlay already...I play MLBB, T3, Flash Party, Aether Gazer, and Diablo Immortal. Atm i play on a Xiaomi mi11 and my left thumb is constantly burning from screen heat.
That is amazing for future proofing device. No the cameras aren't iphone or pixel but hey. The rest of the build seems way way making up for it and the price??? Heck yeah. Wow. Great review man. I figured this would have been 1200 I see it around 850.
Great review. It's a shame such a beautiful and Powerful phone doesn't have desktop mode similar to Motorola and Dex on Samsung then you truly have a portable computer in your pocket
Not to much negative after update, camera is now the only issue, hopefully some adjustments are made with next update, has Samsung cameras but how it processes the photos is not good.performance and battery is killer!
@@caguamaYT I have T-Mobile so I have very little 5g in my area , I have the 5g displayed in some parts of my town but haven't tested if it's actually 5g. I think also it has to do with where you buy it from , I've seen a lot of reviews that have said some that I have never had an issue with, so either they have have the first units that were sent out or buying from third part source , you want to buy it directly from red magic and not a third party as well. Gcam fixes the camera issue as well but the original camera app is not good.
If you don't want a foldable anymore and the Redmagic has the network bands for your service, then you should be good. Also, if you don't mind the cameras since the Fold ones are better.
@@deenojiren7979 actually im not really sure either even my tab s8plus until now theres some games i mainly play that isnt as optimized as apple.i got an ipad pro to compare. it kinda annoys me that they prioritize apple. but if you really prioritize gaming i say you should get redmagic cause fold isnt for gaming. you can game but you cant play competitively. since they both suck on cameras id pick redmagic since it has better touch response,better screen,bigger battery, and better chipset. i live in usa i wouldve bought redmagic if it fully supports usa 4g and 5g. thats my only problem with it. if you live in europe or asia they support 4g and 5g well enough.
I think you wouldn't regret it. This phone is great. The only that isn't great is the camera but it isn't ugly either just not top of the line pics but it take nice photos. The rest it's an amazing phone
Camera doesnt seem that great.. has lots of software features but video quality sucks.. But this was made for gaming.. so you can have both for a lower price.

I watched this with 2x speed and didn't have any trouble understanding but I always watch youtube on 2x speed so I have gotten used to it (I actually wish there would be an option for 3x speed)
Sony has the bypass feature as well, so you can use the phone without the heating issues. GREAT feature.

I guess depends how long you play. Try the charge passthrough and built in fan to see us that's enough for you first

Not at all works great 5g all over Chicago land and nw Indiana no problems I use a lot of hotspot and also wifi calling no probs at all.

If you don't want a foldable anymore and the Redmagic has the network bands for your service, then you should be good. Also, if you don't mind the cameras since the Fold ones are better.
