I have the RM8 Pro matte version, i still have the redmagic 5 pro also, this phone is a game changer for me in my everyday work flow, im not worried about cameras because i have a pixel 7 pro that can handle that heavy lifting, but the cameras on the redmagic i actually like a lot because of the pics that you can make look like art.
All in all between the longest battery life i have ever had on a phone and beautiful display and hardware, no other phone can touch the Redmagic 8 pro in my eyes.
did you see any green tint on the selfie camera or on low brightness, cuz that issue with most of the users .. it held me back to buy this device .. which defeats the purpose of having an under display camera ..
Yeah the snapdragon 8 gen 2 is no joke. The Samsung s 23 ultra only got 10 minutes less battery than iPhone 14 pro! Both got over 11 hours screen on time! Absolutely insane and definitely a crazy difference from the s22 ultra.
@@robmalcolm8042 wow that’s good to hear and hopefully the s23 series will be good phones to get
@@AzharMohd85 I didn't see any green tint but the background is a little blurry and I'm not talking bokeh 😂, but the software fixes it quite a bit, but I'm not a big selfie person anyway, and the main shooter is actually pretty good, especially since it can actually 8k hd at 30fps
@@brycepilgram you will love this phone.. I am in MS and I have tested this phone on both Google Fi Network which is basically T-Mobile and Xfinity mobile which is Verizon and it works basically with CDMA and GSM, 5g, just doesn't have uwb which i don't mind because there are no towers like that here anyway. This is an awesome daily driver, I can finish the day with about 8 hrs screen on time with about 35 to 40 percent battery left, I have been trying to kill this phone in a day with no luck. 👍👍
2 seconds in I can tell this is going to be an amazing review 🤘🤘😤
Good job on giving red magic 8 the recognition it deserves, I move from a Z fold 2 and this phone won me in every aspect so far its perfect
I'm happy I bought mine on release before they sold out and put up for pre-order 😁
Can you keymap ysing bluetooth controller on the rm8pro to use on emulators
Is the steam deck more powerful than SD gen3?
I heard this phone is very buggy. Is it buggy or does it run pretty good without problems?
Damn love this phone but wish it had 1tb storage and/or micro SD slot
I really wish they'd make a complete handheld, no extra controllers, no 20x9, just a fast 16x9 handheld. They'd make a killing!
I was about to get this phone in a few weeks and also because of the phone size display. battery life and other things the phone can do for the cost of the price of the phone. to play games watch videos and do fun stuff on the gaming phone.
It’s a powerful phone, and man is it striking in person. Stands out from the crowd.
@@MrTekSuggest ok alright so it’s worth the money to get the red magic 8 pro phone. because of the specs it has and other good reasons why it’s a good phone.
ok and I’ll have to see how the phone does. when the game phone get shipped. and how it does for games videos and other stuff.
@@MrTekSuggest I’ve seen eta primes video and it seems the red magic 8 pro was lagging with capcom vs tatsunoko Wii I believe I’m not sure if it’s cause the chip is still new and needs optimization for the emulator or which dolphin he used since there is many but I know older chips handle that game perfectly fine.
I read that it did support wireless charging. Is that not the case?
I guess this guy doesn't answer questions. I hate channels that ignore it's viewers
9:02 There's your answer. In essence, no, it doesn't support wireless charging.
I emulated some loz twilight princess on this phone on 4x and (with a bit of tweeking) it works very very well. if you like watching stuff for sound only you can also put the screen off while listening :)
Have you used dolphin from their website the dev build? I’ve seen it’s improvement even on older chips. It seems to be as stabile now even as iPhones GameCube emulation. Even modern warfare 3 Wii was running good from videos I seen even mmj and mmjr can’t do that. Also the dev builds are more accurate. So less glitches.
@@robmalcolm8042 just dolphin from the app store
Hey man, have you tried emulating Switch? If so what has been your personal experience?
@@CarlosRodriguez-by2px I tried running Mario 3d world on skyline and it runs pretty well hardware wise. Otherwise it seems the speed is too fast and there are some sky bugs
Trying it today speed is fixed. Only issues are black sky, sometimes specific sounds don't play and to much haptic feedback
the best gaming phone right now
A big gripe for apple is the iPhones ecosystem. Even though all apple products are locked down the mac and MacBook are way better with emulation because they have just about all the emulator options that android and windows have I think with the M1 and m2 only 3ds seems to have given the most trouble. But in terms of iPhone and android iPhones can hit high res and handle demanding GameCube games like Star Wars rogue sqaudron 2 but android has way more emulator options and being only one or two less resolution isn’t bad considering iPhone came out first. Android for emulation win.
Backbone controller is the best
This is new
I think redmagic should have 2 charging ports...
But unfortunately it can not play PC games without an emulator
I would buy the steam deck if it was just a screen and came with Bluetooth controllers.
Ngl I can see apple fanboys taking advantage of the opportunity to say the iPhone doesn’t need a fan to run games and will just make fun of how obnoxious it is
The main problem for smartphone nowadays is aspect ratio!
No, should we stay at 4:3 forever?
What if apple did that?you call that innovation?
@@Sh1ekk 16:9 is the best
im sry but when u put 60 fps and smooth in the same sentence, you're not a gamer
