Hi friends! Decoupage will always be my favorite way to go but once in a while even I can get frustrated with napkins wrinkling and when you're working on a larger project like furniture - you're very limited. Sadly wrapping papers aren't as lovely as they used to be. Even the expensive papers just aren't that pretty. Enter....these pre-made transfers. There are plenty more where this one came from. Such a beautiful addition to your home. That table came out so nice. Don’t you just love working with image transfers, so relaxing and so few steps to get such a beautifully finished project. Not sure about your rocker. It may have registration numbers or manufacture name under the upholstery, but other than that I have no clue. BUT you could contact someone in your area that a Furniture Refinisher and ask if you could send a picture just to see what it might be. Just a thought. If the chair looks like it's been put together by wood knoching! Meaning no nials or staples! And looking under the seat area, see if any numbers or writing on it! 🙋❤️🔥☺️👍
So pretty! Just one question: Why did you paint the table black, then white? I understand the white is for the benefit of seeing the transfer, but why black first? I wanted to ask before I start painting. I love your videos. I've learned so much.
Were you mixing the duraclear with the wax and applying it with the cloth🤔 if so how much of each..I didn't understand that part...also, did you not seal your paint before putting on your transfer 🤔
Hi Terri, I was saying you could use one top coat or the other, the duraclear or the wax and I went with the wax. I did not seal the paint before the transfer. :) 🙂

The table is lovely! There are 2 rocking chairs like that listed on eBay as Children’s rocking chairs. Not especially valuable, probably made in the 60s-70s.

When putting the wax on at the end I would guess you need to be very careful you don’t pull up any tiny little end pieces?
How did the rocking chair turn out?
I still have it on deck. along with several other projects. I am going to do it after Christmas :)
I think, and I'm not positive but the rocking chair may be intended for nursing babies.
