Discovering BlendBunny Cosmetics was probably the high point of 2022 for me 😊 I bought All Done Up and I was HOOKED, both on quality and having a full range of so many hues (yes I am more of a neutrals lover). I’d put Leather and Lace from Unearthly Cosmetics in the same category - shimmer light to very dark shades in three different hues. Their palettes are coming back, too!
I bought the Solmåne II palette after watching your reviews and it was actually even BETTER in person. It 100% looks like a sunset palette and I fell in love instantly, definetly worth all the hype it got (and still gets).
For me, the ABH Nouveau gives me all the looks, every day. I reach for it daily and the quality is **chef's kiss** Chic? Of course! Grunge? Totally! Smokey? Sure! Light and pink? Absolutely! No time? Just swipe on a shade and you're good to go. I have severe dents in this palette and that never happens.
Yes! There is green, there is pink and that lilac color? So unique and so fun to play with!
I wish there was like a forest green, maybe muted then it would be 100% die for. Now it's like 90% 😂

I thought the eyeshadow you had on was the ND mini pastel palette. Now that I know it's the serenity palette I guess those two palettes are similar.

Palettes with interesting color stories in my collection:
Sigma Alice in Wonderland (I think it's the gold and silver in this palette that does it for me so much. Being able to change an eye look up with either one adds so much variety.)
Sigma Cinderella (I love the neutrals on the left side of the palette. My heart beats for the warm purple in this palette, and the baby blue shimmer is pretty unique to my collection. I've been getting more out of the other shades by being more willing to use a glitter glue.)
Sigma New Mod (Berries done in a way I actually like. I am not a huge berry fan, and I love this palette.)
Sigma Warm Wishes (The gold in this palette and the cool toned shimmer are gorgeous and they make the palette for me. The burgandy matte adds an interesting twist to the neutrals.)
The Gilded Glamour duo by Tarte that was release this winter were so well done.
Chocolate Martini and Dirty Martini by Glamlite and very well balanced too. The shimmers are fabulous. The mattes are workable with primer. I was really put off by their quality for a while without using a primer. These 2 palettes though have saved me so much money over the last year though. So often if a new palette release catches my eye, these 2 palettes can do what I'm so attracted to in 1 new palette.
Palettes on my wishlist that I think are unique:
Rogue by Fantasy Cosmetica. I kind of want the entire line because I play D&D but this is the one I am most attracted to. Makes sense. I love purple and green shadows.
An Knook's collab with Sigma. I think its the mix of warm and cool tones. The option to go with silver and / or gold. The purple blue row is what makes it so hard to pass this one up but the warm half of the palette is gorgeous too. I have most of what is offered in other Sigma palettes and love it... but it makes me pretty sure I wont hate this palette. I just love Sigma.
The lured palette by Blend Bunny. This feels like the perfect green, blue and purple palette and there is some pink sprinkl in too. I liked Mikayla's green, blue and purple palette but I felt it didn't go light enough. Now that I've learned what a hot mess she is I'm glad I passed on it. But lured, interesting color combo with a good variety in depth and what appear to be gorgeous shimmers.
You have such a good eye for color stories, I remember waaay back in the day you did the color stories you liked with your singles and me thinking whatever palette she ever releases I will 100% buy (which I have) I am sooo excited for your brand 😍
Passion in Paris is my fave pallet of all time. I have actually decluttered a bunch of pallets because this is is my love xx
This is a really creative video idea! I purchased the ND Zendo palette not so long ago, and I was surprised at how many different possible looks I can create with it. For me, it is a really versatile palette.

I do not get the hate people have for Zendo, I love it. Yeah the shimmers aren’t crazy but I have so many topper shades from other brands or palettes if I feel it necessary

I own several of these and really enjoy them all. Oden's Eye, Adept, Blend Bunny....just got the Rogue from Fantasy Cosmetica and have really been loving that one too. Great choices here!
I love the rogue palette. It's the first fantasy cosmetica palette I tried and I'm hooked lol. It's a fantastic color story for me and the shimmers are very special.

One of my favourite colour stories was your Hela Palette with Oden’s Eye, for sure. It can go from spring to summer to fall to winter, just by combining the shades differently. Amazing job with that one.

You are right about nomad. I do not thinkI have that palette but I have another one which is colorful!!
I think the Club Nebula, Serenity and Oden's Eye Christmas palettes are some of the most interesting color stories I have in my collection. I also really like The Escape Pod from Kaleidos, Ethereal from Profusion, along with the 80's and 90's palettes from BH Cosmetics.
I don't own these two palettes, but I keep going back to look at the site to see the Jamrock 2 Mattes and the Vigorously palettes from Playing in Makeup by Yolondo.
Me watching this video: Oh, I have that palette. Oh, i have that one too. Apparently you and I have similar tastes when it comes to bright colors! 😅
Some of my other favorites:
I LOVE the ColourPop Baroque palette and I don't think it got anywhere near enough hype. It's a grungy gray, blue, purple, peach palette. The color story is such an interesting cool tone almost sunset vibes, and it has some really deep shades if you want to go bold or smokey. The ND Circo Loco palette is another true rainbow palette, but it leans heavily into the blues, purples, and blurples, so you can pair those with pretty much any other shade for something multi-toned, or pretty much pair any matte with any shimmer for a 2-tone look. The Juvia's Place Saharan palette is an oldie but goody, and my dream warm, sunrise-y vibes. But I love that there's a dark greeny black, a green-toned gold, and the matte black. 😍 Last but not least, your Hela palette. I'm sure I don't have to tell you why, but that grungy green just speaks to my SOUL, double-side and river are just such great shades, and I love that you can go softer pastel, neutral, heavy on the green, or bright with the pinks. Just more of that, please!!
I have every palette from Blend Bunny and adore all of them, but I maintain that she really did something with the Surge palette. She gave us a layout and color story we had not yet seen and even though her shimmers have since improved immensely (and were fine to begin with!) I still reach for that palette so often because it inspires me! I also have got to give credit to the Glamlite x Chucky palette that just launched around Valentine's Day because it was a cool toned grungy dream. The Bad Witch Club from Give Me Glow remains one of my favorite palettes in my considerably large collection as well; and I don't have a single Odens Eye palette (yours included!) that I do not love; but I could not put down their Merry Christmas palette for like two months! For Bella Beaute Bar it has to be the Euphoric Dreams (which is in a similar vein to the Blend Bunny Lure but smaller and more purples/shimmers). Just soooo many great Indie palettes to love! 🎉

You have a point about colourpop collections, they make great things in general but people just get the hype for the collabs. Well, I know about a collab that actually didn't get any hype, even the color stories looked nice, and that was the NBA collection. I think they're still in the webpage, and have been on sale since forever but nobody talks about it.

I am someone who’s more comfortable with cool neutrals but you’ve inspired me to branch out and wow, do I love the Rogue and Druid palettes from Fantasy Cosmetica! So easy to find stunning combos!
Kaleidos Astro Pink is another of my faves. Their formula looks great on mature eyes and is so easy to work with!
And vegan too! I have a carmine allergy so the bigger brands are usually off limits anyway. Love indie! Time for me to try Ace and Blend Bunny.
I love the Trick Roar Treat palette. I think that is one of my favorites of this past year. Six pans can be hard to have an interesting color story but they nailed it and I can't wait for them to do another 6 pan. I also thought the Dark Fantasy palette this year was a great color story. It has so many different colors that seem to all work and can make so many different types of looks.
I would love to try the one don't know the name of the brand but it's the one you showed with the sun on it I think it's beautiful also I wanted to say congrats on your new brand I can't wait to receive my brushes in the mail 💕💕

This was an excellent curation! Exactly why your channel stand out amongst the rest. You helped me to see color stories with new eyes. One color story I love is musee beauty’s Impressionism palette. Unfortunately, the brand is shutting down.
I struggle to make the love palette work for me. I wanted to use the red and super dark purple and it kept being patchy. I couldn't layer them for some reason. I tried it a couple different ways too.
Same for me. Not a huge fan but I bought it and still try to make it work.
Personally for me I don't like the Serenity palettes - the colour story doesn't quite make sense to me and as you mentioned, going in too many different directions.
I have 4 palettes you mentioned! the solmane II, ND love, passion in Paris and the Ruh Roh Raggy! I'm a neutral with a pop of colour kind of girl and murky grunge colours work great on me. The Ace Beaute and Sugar drizzle call my name every time you mention them 😂
They have too many murky or yellow-based shades. I don't want to buy a palette for part of a color story. Those yellow-based colors look sallow on me.
Solmane II has become my last attempt at blues 😅got it after the recent restock, and I was, like, listen, these blues are different from all other ones you've tried before, give it a shot. confirmed that blues don't mesh with my colouring well and I have to jump through way too many hoops to make them work for me. granted, the darkest blue in this palette suits me best out of all blues I've tried, and all of the shades are unique enough for my collection, so I'm still happy I got it
The colourpop palette seems almost identical to give me glow summer vibes palette

Hi Angie, I know you don’t want to toot your own horn for a palette that is no longer available but I want to give a shout out to the color story in your Hela palette. By coincidence (or maybe because it’s a palette that identify with spring and I desperately want the warmer weather to arrive because I’m sick of watching snow and wintry mix here in the Chicago area) I have used the Hela palette in the past 2 days and have gotten 2 wildly different yet beautiful looks from it. A year later and it is still a favorite so not only do I trust your opinion on good color stories and good quality shadows, I know you can walk the talk. Thanks for the recommendations in this video. Hope all is well.

The large original ND gold palette isn’t on her site anymore, and hasn’t been for atleast 1.5-2 years. It’s legit discontinued due to pigments becoming unavailable on the manu side.

I had such a bad experience with Oden's Eye. Tried two palettes, both were horrible, the only thing I still have from them is the compact mirror.
Which two did you try?
@@sallyhumphrys7955 I had the Cat's Breath one from the Freja series and I believe the Alva II mini Sky (purple packaging).
The Cat's Breath had no pigment, the metallics did nothing and the glitter leaked through the packaging after a week. Mini Sky was a little bit better but still absolutely not the quality everyone made it out to be. I was so sad, had such high hopes. The mirror is awesome though.
@@lesanimaux4416 oh I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't have any of the earlier palettes so I'm just going on the recent Christmas ones and the three recent collabs (I bought two of them plus the Solmane II is on the way). I absolutely love them. Maybe give them another go?
Unfortunately, I didn't love their palettes either. I've kept them around because of the duo chromes and some unique shades. I can make them work but... I'd prefer to not have to work so hard for my makeup to work. And so many of the shimmers hard pan.
Why is it that palettes I don't like, don't care for the colors or even the packaging. Total miss for me. Then she comes along and swatches them on her arm and I'm like, oooh I need that...
OMG I so prefer CP palettes that are not collabs. They tend to do such beautiful color stories when they aren't trying to be true to an IP. I love influencer collabs but otherwise, I'd rather buy non-collab. Makeup as merch can be cool, but it's often kind of gimmicky.
The Gold palette of Natasha Denona is actually gone … 😬
