I absolutely agree.
One thing that drives me crazy is the idea that every blush has to be SUPER pigmented or it’s not a good blush and people expect that. Are super pigmented blushes good for most people? Probably not, a buildable formula is typically better for all.
If you prefer more subtle blushes I really recommend Korean blushes, they are all about sheer makeup over there

True story: I haven’t purchased any new makeup in a few months. I don’t need anything, and nothing has peaked my interest enough to order anything, but now I’m giving a couple of things a second look. I love playing with makeup! I loved the Too faced bronzer. The Urban Decay foundation never released in the Uk or Europe for some reason, I think as a brand they have fallen off the face of the earth over here

I'm totally with you on the Murad sunscreen. I bought it and was shocked that they considered that this was a functioning product. Grease shield is right. Just beyond gross. And what throws me is that there are people who wrote rave reviews. The only thing I can think is that they didn't really use the product, that they were paid reviewers. Either that or they didn't apply the correct amount of sunscreen. I returned it.

Mrs. Meyer’s makes a line of household products in the scent called Tomato Vine! It’s limited edition and keeps selling out on their website. It is absolutely wonderful for the kitchen. They have several herbal scents that are very authentic!
Hey, I came across a great fragrance called Eau de Campagne by Sisley that I think you would really like. It has notes of tomato leaves and basil. I think it would suit your style and you might enjoy trying it out.
I love you girl and your recommendation for Burning Cherry changed the game for me, but when I smelled that replica scent in store, straight up all I smelled was dirt. Not fresh grass. Not leaves. DIRT. DRY dirt. The type of dirt at the base of a tomato plant stem.
Side note: I hate celery so that also might play a role because to me celery smelled similar to this. I also love basil so I was really disappointed 😢

I have had a lot of luck with the Danessa myricks blurring balm powder as a primer under the Urban Decay foundation. It doesn’t even sink into my fine lines after working in the heat all day. Amazing! I also can mix halo glow or anything similar with the urban decay for a more glowy look and it still lasts all day. I want to try the Yummy serum next but I love the universal balm. It is great around my nose where my makeup usually separates. Keeps it in place all day! So good!
I really need to pick up that Fenty highlighter and a past rec the too faced highlighter.

I LOVE the UD Face Bond foundation! I work 13 hours a day and I need a foundation that stays. (I have tried a lot!!) This one looks as good at the end of the day as when I put it on. I just have to touch up with a little powder in the evening and I'm good to go!
