    Very cool. I didn't like W1 at first but found out it very durable steel.

      @@mattwatersbladesmith I found it to be very soft, cheap nickel like hardness, I'll use it but 01 is my go to.

    I’d be VERY nervous about quenching with the blades that thin!! Lol even with the angle iron haha 😂 I’m not brave enough to go that thin yet, I stop at a quarter inch to an eighth. Just a nice, safe medium ground Lol

      Haha it does Not always work out for me going that thin 😅
      Definitely safer to quench a bit thicker!!
