Thanks for taking the time to post your setup. Perfect for a cheap way to make your own shot. No it’s not perfect but for a guy that just wants to experiment it is a very economical way to do it. I already have a lead pot so I’ll give it a try.

Very cool man! I actually have a old Lee pot I shelved because the spout setup is shot. It would be great for this.

Good idea I might have to try it

😂😂 I shoot trap, but just for fun and I do believe I'm going to use this idea, local shop has two lead furnaces similar to that. Might buy up their molds too while I'm at it.

Definitely for me. I don't own any of this equipment but at least a decent amount of powder, lead and a few primers. Gonna let this one be my motivation to try something for that odd shot.

    Great Job, well done

Looks like it might work for making “weight-shot” - for pattern-weights, etc.

What size drill bit did you use to drill that hole in the closed nut? And what other modifications to the nut was required?

Great basic setup. Maybe you could come of with some sort of screen to sift the shot through to separate by size👍🏻
