Nearly Human is one of the best albums ever made! Every song...every lyric has meaning. I first saw him on Oct. 30 in Flint MI when I was 16 YO. I fell in love with the music and the man. God made Todd, then he broke the mold. There is NO other! And never will be.I bow to the master!
this is the last rundgren album I bought, and it is good. Nothing I've heard since has intrigued me enough to want to purchase it, though I've heard good enough things about 'Liars' that I will eventually get around to purchasing it.
It's out of print because it's not cost-effective for the record company to press up the 100 copies they might sell over the next 10 years... the harsh facts of ecomonics... plenty of used copies out there, though =) I pretty good album, over-all with some really great songs (Hawking)... it was an awesome tour, I caught about 3 shows that year...
@emjee Buy, if you can find them, a Rockman Distortion Generator and a Rockman Chorus/Delay. That's the little blue boxes behind Todd. Both of them go directly into the mixing board. That's the guitar tone on this song.

Liars is an awesome album. Every track is amazing.
This is my favorite Todd record. Saw him on this tour at 1st Avenue in Mpls. Magical is the word for it...
Just got my DVD of the Nearly Human Tour , Tokyo Japan...Love it...Worth every $ I spent.
