If I didn't know better I would have thought I was listening to Daryl Hall in this... and it was by watching "Live at Daryl's House" that I found Todd Rundgren to only realize I already knew several of his songs... so nice when you can put the pieces together after all these years.
Todd and Daryl have a friendship that goes back to the early 70's with a Hall and Oates album produced by Todd called War Babies. Though not a big hit for them, I like it for a number of reasons, in particular the musicianship and production.
Sucks that one cannot find this gem on CD, or vinyl, or.... Todd is awesome. This ablbum was a favorite of mine from first listen back in college. Fantastic.
I'll bet you that those bottles are there to hold the paper in place on the stand. Love this album. Todd grudgingly enters middle age, refusing to sit in the comfy chair.
