The movie is called "Toddstock", 90 minute movie about a big party he threw on Kauai to celebrate his birthday, amongst other things.

This song is the epitome of the Philly soul sound which Todd would know about since he was raised in Upper Darby (NW Philly suburb). I fell in love with this the instant I heard it. It sounds like it was recorded in heaven. Actually, it was recorde in the studio but live. No overdubs. Everyone was there and participating If you took every ballad that Todd ever wrote and summed it up into one, this would be it.

@Kimmeir, the two male singers are Scott Matthews, who also played some percussion I think on Nearly Human, but was the percussionist during the recording of 2nd Wind. The other guy is none other than ND Smart, drummer and singer of "The Hello People", who were good friends with Todd, whom he also produced back in the 70s.
Never seen that before. Had the privilege of befriending fellow Sacramentan Larry Tagg and sitting in many times with his band Love Ride 7 and also having Michael Rosen (engineer seen here) produce tracks for me and my companions. Both class act guys.

@gudatine We finished "The Want of A Nail" in May of 1989. I than began working on this, probably finished it in the fall of 1989. But the album was recorded (and video taped) over a longer period, but really don't remember when, started sometime in 88 I would imagine.

@alecjulian2022 I was the videographer for most of the recording sessions for that album. I produced the music video for Todd of "The Want Of A Nail", edited "Fidelity" for myself and the other footage was part of an EPK released by his management.
Dear Ed , I know this might sound crazy but was that Paul from Daryl Halls LFDH singing backup ? if not it's his DAD ! They look so alike !!! Thank You For this from what I can tell was a labor of great LOVE 💗! And is that John Oates on the controls ? You should get some kind of award for documenting The greatest and SMARTEST amen in the music biz ! I've watched all your videos on your channel ! And have put the word out to all my Todd loving friends !

It was recorded in Oakland, CA and I am completely spacing on the name of the studio, where much of the rest of Nearly Human was recorded.
