I was always thrilled when my favorite artist appeared on my favorite show and to know of the mutual admiration between the two. A great time to be a fan of Todd and Dave in the late 80's, early 90's. Todd was feeling a bit under the weather during this performance but still performed masterfully. And Michelle and Shandi surely were, as Dave would often say, easy on the eyes.

What a brilliant question Rundgren asks in this song Why go about changing the world when you can barely understand yourself and barely manage your own life? Leave others to themselves and let things be. When you set about fixing things youve set yourself up for failure before you even start. Very few things can be fixed by you and even less need to. Its all vanity to convince ourselves that we're right or better than 'those people with the bad ideas'.
