Great performance, but it's also worth taking a moment to appreciate his backing band representing the various possible permutations of the mullet. Drummer with the classic redneck mullet, bass player with the permed mullet, rhythm guitar with the ponytail mullet, and keyboard with the balding mullet. Lead guitarist must be guesting.
Yeah, it was the beginnings of mullet mania here in America.

💜 Not too long after this appearance, I was fortunate enough to catch the Iggy/Pretenders show in Oakland, CA... Iggy was literally awesome, a whirling dervish of a Tasmanian devil on stage, blew my young mind and changed the trajectory of my life.

Man was 40 here, hasn't aged in 36 years. Granted, he looked 76 at the time, as well.

recommend looking up Henry Rollins talking about attempting to outdo Iggy at festivals and coming up a bit short.
But Henry is a huge fan of Iggy's.
He used to write a weekly column in the LA Weekly newspaper, and he always spoke very highly of Iggy.

I recently re-watched all of “Facts of Life”, including the “Down Under” and “Goes to Paris” films. It does not hold up.

@@jeffkaufman9875I really liked the show as a kid, but seeing it again as an adult, I realize that Edna Garrett wasn’t an ideal role model or caregiver for four teenage girls. Her personal life is pretty chaotic. She seems to forget that they are all minors and students at the school where she works, not her peers. The four girls also work in the school cafeteria for no pay for literally years as a consequence for property damage.

He is just joking around, because if you read the comments here regularly, it is sort of a running joke that a lot of dead celebrities have been featured on this channel lately (and that looking at this channel is how some people discover that a celebrity has died recently).
