- [Stereo] Great little appearance, and Iggy handles the silly questions quite well. Not to mention the performance isn't quite what the audience for this USTV program is used to viewing.

Iggy’s sincerity burns through the phoniness.
Iggy's stage precense is unique.
This is an artist. Will never be another one like him.
Was ist "precense"?
@@tripjet999 Hard to define. Perhaps charisma. He just takes the stage naturally and you enjoy to view it.
The kindness and sincerity of "It was warm." down to "I like bananas!" Is almost heartwarming. He has his own bizarre politeness you can't help but love about the guy!
Iggys voice is amazing.
Wow this was amazing and very moving what a beautiful guy
His eyes, man... Iggy is a wild an free animal.
OMG!!!( Look at him here.....THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPECIMEN OF A MAN EVER!!!!!
what a world indeed. great fucking performance
WHAT A VOICE!!!!!!! MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!!!!
One of the greatest voices ever. And American Caesar, what an album.
p.s. Thank you ever so much for the uploading.
Soo right friend.
Beautiful song beautiful man the legendary iggy
One of his best performances ever
Beautiful person iggy...
Leno is a douce !! Iggy rules !! ❤️
IGGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THAT SMILE!
Ain't nobody quite like Iggy! A true rocker!
Iggy Pop is so cool. Especially I love Iggy Pop´s collaborations with David Bowie in the late 1970´s, but the rest of his solo work and as a part of The Stooges is also great. :)
This is the way to make a powerful song even more powerful. I like it way more than the studio version.
I took the drugs!!!
I love him... What a beautiful person !!!
legend
The most amazing tenor in rock history!!!
Is he in the Hall Of Fame? He should be, he's rock royalty
The Stooges got inducted in 2010, totally deserved it
Love HIM!!!
It is nice to see people still having "real" experiences... meaning, no cell phones to record and share instantly to your best friends you never see in real life... instead, people are just clapping, smiling and having real fun...
Wendell P
This was in 1994 before cell phones unless you were very wealthy
Jim nails it. This song should have been bigger.
Forgot how beautiful Angela Basset is!
Iggy...Iggy...💜💜💜🤘
He actually looks younger here than in the late 70s! And he’s like...what 46/7? Sounds great. This song and Candy are my favs😬✌🏼
About to turn 47 on 04/21.
Iggy such a nice guy..love him
Leno's bits were so payhetic. He clearly understood that he had someone of genius caliber to talk with, but he chose to stay the coarse with shitty cheap shots. Too bad he squandered the opportunity to ask something meaningful. Tool.
He was relatively tolerable, i thought. It wouldn't be a few more years til i remember watching him in real time.
What an insufferable twat he was...
I'm no Leno fan but... genius? LMAO! Shock schlock. Dude was always a mess.
Wow Iggy loves gardening! Great to hear for a career horticultural worker. Gardenia baby!
Mark Rago right? I’m feelin extra love for this amazing artist as I toil in the soil
Digroot More power to you Digroot. Tomorrow is my day off from the garden center and I will be transplanting a 4' tall Burning Bush ( Eponymous Alatus) for a friend. Always digging, always jamming Iggy. Rock on buddy, don't work too hard.
Maybe he’ll do a horticulture video series 🤫
Digroot I'm sure it would be as interesting as his music
Only illegal immigrant farmers use the term, horticultural worker.
We Detroiters have known The Psychedelic Stooges, The Stooges, Iggy Pop, or whatever you want to call him/them since the late 60s. This clip is so tame compared to the crowd walking, chest cutting, peanut butter smearing James Newell Osterberg Jr. who more often than not was beaten up after the show (truth). But you can't mention Iggy without mentioning the late Ron Asheton (guitar/bass) and his little brother, drummer Scott who died of a heart attack in March 2014 at the age of 64.
Je ne sais ce qu’il peut bien raconter, mais il fait rire la foule👍Beside you❤️love him, Iggy est unique, étrange personnage💥but à voice👍💋
I love him!
If the modern era had a cross between Frank Sinatra and Jim Morrison, Jim Osterburg was the man. Pure energy in human form.
Nice version!
Jay is rude... Iggy never disappoints!!! I liked all the different camera shots.
You are the best Iggy You’re one strong individual put up with Jay Leno he just bad joke ha ha ha ha good job
sings better than bowie and moves better than jagger. 47 years old here.
I think a tie with Bowie for voices but the saying should really be Moves Like Iggy.
LMAO!
Terrible interview, great musician and poet. I love Jim.
I like Iggy 👍
This helps me with my migraine a bit
Maybe I'm wrong, but when one ask a question aren't they suppose to wait for the other person to answer and not interrupt them when they do? Iggy handle it class and laughed at the rude jokes, but Jay Leno was a total Douche Bag.
ReverendMary-Catherine Ryan Jay Leno is a total douche bag
Jay Leno AND Conan O'Brien are INFAMOUS for doing that! No matter who their guest is THEY always talk over and MORE than the guests.
He was really disrespectful too, no acknowledging that he was talking to an actual human being, just telling his sad little jokes.
I love james foreversince 1969
I think the crowd needed to be spat on - great performance nonetheless.
you cant make some people happy, Iggy go's through the trouble of putting a shirt on and Jay complains he isn't dressed up.
Me gusta mucho su forma de ser a parte de su música. Un genio Iggy ❤️
Iggy is the SHIT!
Love Iggy
He’s tops
Great perfomance, 'dead' crowd.
Leno doesn't get Iggy. Great performanc as expected. The song perfectly fits Ig's vocal range.

The Power of the Spirit One Man One Vulcan
should have let him speak
Beside You sounds like something out of the Blue Album, which is interesting since this was before the Weezer Blue Album's release.
What most men don't understand these days is how much love was exchanged during that interview.
Anthony kiedis!
Sweatheart
Who is the woman that was interviewed? She seemed to really dig Iggy!
👏👏👏
The minute he started singing, I started looking for David Bowie on the stage.
Marie Baudino why?
+PowertotheSheeple
they were good friends, Lived in berlin Together, resurrected jims career (and Bowie toured with him in 77 Lust for life) maybe thats what she meant
I like both Iggy Pop and David Bowie´s voices. They both have very distinctive voices. :)
THE SPIT KING
This is very VERY Iggy Pop‼️
Leno is a hack, Snyder was cool.
Why does Leno fake a British accent when introducing Iggy? Did he think he was British?
True...dont know it is absurd if you think about it. I am italian can you help me with the interview?
I think i got most of what they said except for some points. Are they talking about marijuana at the end? Why does he say bananas? Ahahah anyway cool interview, look at that entry from iggy
Ps interview is soft topic of course marijuana joke if true was really cheap and duuumb ahhh
Iggy likes bananas! Of course he does! It all makes perfectly sense!
Weird to see Iggy overdressed
3:34 Song starts
Who is that Guy interviewing Iggy...?...that's right nobody...
His Fucking Iggy!
Home Boy made Good.
Among 1st bands i saw back in 1969.
Blew my mine.

Seems only place u can b free in USA .
Is on stage
Gold mine?
He Likes
Banananas
What’s that white thing stuck to his chest? Looks wierd
iggy was supposed to replace jim Morrison
after Jim died
+Matthew Torres He did replace Jim and expanded on the vision. And most importantly, managed to survive.
His voice reminds me of Peter Murphy's
No, Murphy's voice is like Iggys....
Both are fantastic singers and sound similar...
but would be ridiculous to compare them or even say who wants to influence the other one.
+Lola Twinkle you are totally wrong...One thing is to love Iggy or Peter and something very different is to say who influence the other. They are unique.
I cannot believe what I saw… I put the blame on the white sugar … Sure! 😵
Iggy on the tonight show? WTF! I would rather see Ozzy perform at a daycare!
Cringe interviewers always ask questions that try to belittle ppl…………………….idk, weird
Lego is a suit and tie John what a joke
I like his singing but never cared for his songs, other than the passenger
Jay leno sux. Iggy does not.
Jeez, Jay is unwatchable.
Performance was overly sappy.
Who is the black woman on the show there?
Angela Bassett
I remember when I saw Motorhead in NYC in 1992 and people in the front were spitting on Lemmy. He hated it and told them to stop. I could never figure out why they were spitting on him. This must be it and given the time of this interview, it makes sense. Granted, "March or Die" was Motorhead s worst of twenty but still, ew. That record, getting off topic a bit, had the song "I'm the Man", one of Lemmy's best ever. The rest of that record though, ew Lemmy and Iggy are both amazing at their craft.
