It's so sweet seeing Todd's future wife ,the way she looks at him you can see she LOVES him ! and she's a pro in her own rite ,singing backup for many bands ! GO MICHELLE !!!

i was at one of those ritz shows todd plugged near the end of this "interview..." was at the "2nd wind" show at the ritz, as well, the one where he introduced dana carvey as the current prez at the time, george h fred sam walker bush midway thru the show. carvey was hysterical. todd IS godd...
Paul Schaffer has been a huge Todd fan for a very long time. I know he got Dave to get him on the show. Once Dave heard how great he is...Done deal...return guest a couple times a year!
interesting...too bad the Roots on the tonight show with Jimmy Fallon being from Philly and all, are not convincing Todd (and maybe even Darrell Hall) from Philly to be on the show more often. todd is promoting a new album, he was briefly on Jimmy's show, no interview. I tried to reach out to Jimmy to take him to Letterman church...no connection because I do not do Twitter. Dave, so glad you got it right.
4:12 -- I think Dave was giving Todd the opportunity to introduce the singers, especially his WIFE, and Todd just brushed it off as a gag. I bet he got an earful when he got home that night! Michelle: "And you said he could HAVE US IF HE LIKED?" Todd: "I didn't say that - I said he could "borrow" you." Michelle: "So you're not even going to CHARGE him for our services?" Todd: "Of COURSE I'm going to charge him - the usual session rates--" Michelle: "Oh, so I'm just a PROSTITUTE to you? Are you my PIMP DADDY?" Todd: "I didn't SAY that--" Michelle: "You didn't have to! You should have kept your mouth shut!" Todd: "I did." I remember the incendiary reaction to these backup singers. They were white hot! I think Dave had them on by themselves a few times.
