Todd is a bottomless pit of talent and creativity, had the good fortune to meet him and shake his hand backstage in '94 after his solo show "An Interactive Evening with Todd Rundgren" at Manchester Academy, where he performed from inside a specifically designed pod encircled by various keyboards, guitars, props and effects. He was visibly surprised and touched when almost the entire audience sang along to more than one of his songs, word for word. Myself and 3 other mates had driven 6-7 hours down from Scotland to see him, and drove straight back up after the gig and meeting him. An almost life-changing event, rather than just a Todd gig.
Very influential music man. At 70 he's never gotten his proper respect. He's done it all in music. He still lives for the music and leads a full creative life. Plus I had hair like his in my heyday...

OK, established why the middle backup singer looks familiar (Tubes/Mrs. Todd) but the short haired singer on the right looks very familiar as well? Did she tour or was she local or...?
puntagordy Yeah, the blonde is Michele Gray (Michele Rundgren). She was a dancer/backup singer for the Tubes for a long time then went on tour with Todd and he ended up marrying her.

Study his life history. It’s beyond amazing what this musical genius has accomplished. How he had to wait so long to get into the Rock HOF is appalling. Yet it’s kind of ironic because even he will tell you Cleveland was probably the first major city to help establish career. They’ve always loved him and always will!
