The GREAT Todd Rundgren. He’s timeless and his music is timeless. He is a master.
I can't begin to say how much I love this song! This is in my top five songs of all time: hands down! The words, melody, harmonies, arrangement reach right into my soul! Songs like this are rare indeed! Todd Rundgren is a MASTER of his craft. Period end of story.
Ha ha ha... He sure is a master of his craft ! Except this song "appeared" to him in a dream... He woke up and had to run to his studio to record the demo as fast as he could in order to not forget it ! He said later that he had managed to recreate 75% of the song he had been "listening" in his dream.
@@h.m.7218 you would have to have a high level of craftsmanship to first dream the song, and secondly to transcribe it after that
@@MrJadePinwheel Well, I wouldn't call the dreaming part of the process "craftmanship". When it's your subconcious that crafts it for you, it's inspiration in the most genuine sense of the word. Or, in other terms, genius.
This music will be timeless to me...! It is amazing to me that a lot more Todd Rundgren's music were not more mainstream for the masses...?! Yet, interesting how many people are discovering his music now..! Hard for me to believe...?
I'll be 60 this summer and I have been totally crazy Rundgren since I was 13! I cannot picture my life without Todd's music and his amazing outlook. Unbelievable!
