Absolutely. This is a battle between what Carl once described as Anywhere vs Somewhere. All of us who love our own country, we are people for whom home is a very specific Somewhere. There are people in England whose families have lived there for hundreds of years or more; _that is home._
Then there are the Anywhere people, who fly around the world and settle anywhere, because nowhere is home to them. They have no love for the country they happen to reside in, they treat it like a hotel, and they'll abandon it if they find a more lucrative position in a different country.

The thing about propositional or ideological thinking is that ideology does not accommodate emotions such as love, desire, kindness, uncertainty, etc:. What's interesting is that in Japan, most of the 'normal' attitudes, opinions and lived values would be considered 'far right' by so many wacko Western standards. Just the different cultural standards and behaviours. 30 years ago my political alignment would have planted me firmly on the left. The expression 'far right' is a political tool which people can use to discount speech, i.e. ideas, without examining or assessing what the ideas are. Once labelled, the person or group being targeted can be ignored wholesale or even be physically attacked without need for further justification.
Tommy Robinson is a perfect example. For years he pointed out the existence of grooming gangs but was ignored even though his claims were perfectly valid. Like Robinson or not, ignoring his claims resulted in arguably the biggest crime committed on british soil, ...and it's still going on.
Ideologies are imposed from the top down. I guarantee that for at least 99% of your day you don't do anything due to some ideological reason. You act around people in a generally decent way, not because some ideology says you should but because you would feel like a bit of a dick if you were rude to people for no reason. Ideology like religion comes with presuppositions that may or may not be true, and an end goal based on those presuppositions. The other option is just to interact with the people around you and a community forms on its own, with a set of rules and expectations based on how the people themselves act, no top down ideology is needed. Communism failed, fascism failed, it just took liberalism a bit longer to start cracking at the seams. And what started to crack it? When you began to test its ideological presuppositions, such as the universal man, turns out that doesnt exist. Man in a state of nature never existed.

At the maximum granularity there is a very ancient, cold, hard truth about any civilization, in fact applies to species survival as well. That truth being enough human capital in your civilization to survive, thrive, evolve and develop advanced material sciences. If a nation's population and skill sets/knowledge begin to shrink, population replacement and tradition passing, the culture/species will fail, go extinct or be absorbed into a larger population. UK population and skill sets have fallen to a critical level hence migration, bodies for commerce, bodies for taxes, bodies as justification for their continued relevance and existence.
