First Adrienne spilt her drink, but did y'all see Loni drop her straw from her mouth to lick the drink off her dress!? Lmao she said "to hell with it."
I’m like that too. I would just say thank you pay them and head to another stylist quickly to fix it or fix it myself with my sister and call it a day. I pay more so for the stylist’s time even if I didn’t quite like it
Please!!! If I’m paying for it, I will! Especially if they told me they could do it and they didn’t do a good job. I will damn sure be like “look at this piece. You didn’t do this right”. Women have to start speaking up for ourselves and quit being so concerned with not hurting peoples feelings because we’re only hurting ourselves for the long run.

As a hairstylist and make up artist you should always make sure that you can deliver the style that your client wants if you feel that’s out of your expertise don’t take money from that person and let them know that you’re not experienced in dealing styles that elaborate
Isn't this customary? When you get up, during movie nights with friends and family, to go get snacks or something to drink don't you usually ask "do you need anything?" 🤔🤔🤔
Nobody touches my hair! I do my own hair even for special occasions😂😂 I put in too much time and work growing out my hair/keeping it healthy. Plus a lot of people are not good at doing natural hair.
THIS. HAPPENED. TO. MEEE!!!! Hers looked good compared to what I got stuck with. Real talk my simple style looked like a bird nest that went thru a wind storm and had a bird throw up bobby pins throughout it. I was too afraid to tell the girl it looked terrible and thought if i did, she would take even longer & it would come out even worse! I cried in the car on the way to my makeup spot before we got married while my sweet husband called around and found me a place that ended up fitting me in within 10 min. The 2nd salon felt so bad for me AND my hair, they literally had a crew of 3 people (1 was the owner) that went ham to get my hair done as quick as possible. AND they didn't charge me. It was a mess start but ended up being perfect!!

This same thing happened to me for prom. I had a hair appointment for a half-up do. The group I was going with wanted to do pictures early in the evening, so I didn't half a lot of time to get my hair done after school and go home to get dressed. The hairdresser spent half an hour just trying to figure out how to put my hair up and then gave me big, frizzy 80s curls. It looked so bad, I cried while driving home. My mom and I spent 15 minutes frantically trying to wash and re-style my hair while my dad called my boyfriend and told him I would be late for pictures. My mom laced up the back of my dress while I slapped on some makeup (I had planned to do something more elaborate but I had no time). And I thought my boyfriend would be mad at me for holding him up and being late, but when I finally walked out of my bedroom...the look on his face is the look every groom should give their bride when they walk down the aisle.
Ooh that reminds me of the Shaderoom when their followers send pictures of hairstyles they want vs what they get... I think you need to do research and make sure there are other people who recommend them so you have something to fall back on & make sure they're actually reliable

I think sometimes these ladies forget that their lives are not the “norm” for most of us and weddings are expensive and for some the only day they experience professional makeup and hair... trial run?? back up stylist? I don’t know about any of that lol I would have been upset but definitely would not have a back up plan and would have just tried to make it look pretty myself 🤷🏽♀️
I'm with Tamera I would have a trial run of how I want my hair to look on my Wedding day. On my Wedding day and the stylist does my hair and I don't like it. I'm going with the traditional slick back bun. Make sure my makeup is on point and let's keep it moving. I would pay her and just never use her again.
As someone who does makeup for events I WANT them to tell me if they don’t like something. I want to please them however I can even if it means starting over.
This has happened to me and it got me so upset. My hairdresser saw the picture I wanted for my hairstyle and said I can have it done. I was so naive to trust her. I saw what she was doing and stayed quiet because I was scared she would do something terrible to my hair out of anger (burn my hair or scalp). I had to call my friend and she fixed it for me. I cried so badly because of that, i didn't feel beautiful at all. My advice to all women would be to have a trial done with the hairdresser before your wedding to ensure this doesn't happen.
pricing can be different depending on where you live. where i live that is not cheap or expensive it's a reasonable price, but she may have been cheap by not going for a trial first.
I was told by one of my hair stylists growing up that most of the girls in the photos on Pinterest had extensions. So for my big day last July I actually purchased hair extensions. My hair is shorter and super thin. I have a lot of hair but thin hair. The extensions helped to give me volume and allowed me to get the look I wanted. I also had a trial. Most stylist will include and trial when booking for your wedding. Or at least give a discount on the trial. Definitely gives you piece of mind.
I have a whole kit together! It includes a drawstring ponytail, a couple of wigs, a pack of Marley hair, a scarf, some bobby pins, some eco gel, and a playlist on RUclips of quick and easy hairstyles. It’s 2019 and there’s no excuses why we can’t have our hair together.
I found my hairstylist just hours before my graduation. I was at a bank and someone in line referred him. Thank God he did a great job, it could have gone the other way lol. I made it on time to graduation right as the ceremony started:)
I'm in the wedding group that this girl posted this in. She wasn't getting married. She was a BRIDESMAID for her mom's wedding. Another stylist in the salon ended up re-doing the hair but it wasn't an updo anymore, it was more of a curly hair swept to the side.
As a makeup artist, I always hated when women didn’t tell me if they wanted something changed. Instead, they’d lie and say they love it and then complain about it to another person and I find out later on. Not only does it hurt my feelings after the fact, but I wasn’t able to fix it and learn from it. Just a PSA : please tell someone if you want something fixed because they can change it for you.
I hope she gave her the money back too. Girls and women of all ages pray and wait for this amazing big day. I am with you ladies on this one. Do a trial test , if you know how to draw or sketch have the hairstyle designed and draw your face exactly how you want the hairstyle to look on you. I think having a wig prepared, a few hairpieces, rollers, spray ready, and a good flat iron ready at the wedding is great too. Especially for touch ups throughout the day and taking photos outside especially at the venue and before the Reception you should take photos too. If you know a hairstylist in your family and friends hire them immediately someone you can trust. I remember as a kid getting twist braids put in my hair and my mom paid about $80 dollars for this and the braids went loose within a day. So sometimes when we pay and invest all of this money in our hair we want get and obtain our money's worth so yes on the biggest days of your life get your hair the way you deserve it to be at its best 😊😉
I’m like Adrian in this. I once went to have my hair washed and twisted. I specifically asked the stylist to not cut my hair. The stylist not only cut my hair but was cutting it while it was wet. I taught myself to cut my own hair. I never been to another hair stylist for a wash only a style. I feel like you still have to it then for their work but I was peeved.
To avoid something like this it’s best to first look at pictures of their work before you sit in their chair see if they have an ig to look at their clients
Went to get a basic trim two days before mine with my normal hairdresser. I said "a small trim, keep it shoulder length. Walked out with hair looking like Patrick Swayze in the 80s. Cried my eyes out, my (then fiance) sat there and told me "if I have to sit there with you for hours fixing it the morning of, I will"...and I felt better. Still hate it, but I had a small freakout, was reminded of why it didn't matter, and moved on. Not saying a word to the hairdresser, btw. Just done with that. But they're right, we had contingencies upon contingencies. Coronavirus almost ruined things, but we were ready.
Love this video I am just like Adrienne I do not have the guts to make someone feel bad or knock their hustle , Jeannie is looking real good these days,, women looking beautiful and pretty,, no get them out my house 😂😂😂, 🤣🤣🤣 Loni straw dropped 😂😂😂, 🤣🤣🤣, Loni is spot on, love y'all miss y'all keep it up continue watching all on RUclips,
I’ve always been the go to hair stylist in our family, extended family, & for friends. I’ve done family weddings tho not formally trained. My family...they honest tho 😂. If it’s ugly, they’ll tell me. I do appreciate them, cause I learn something new all the time. I do believe in consultations. I’ve done a wedding where I did everyone’s hair and had to do my own too. It came out nice and it wasn’t a bun.
Im like you, Adrienne. I went to a salon to get my hair done professionally for the first time ever and paid a lot to get my hair balayaged and looking good for my 21st. She straight butchered it. I paid and never went back smh.
I agree do a trial run. But more importantly, at least where i live, if someone says they can do wedding hair for $100 expect that picture. You get what you pay for...pick something less complicated if you want to spend less. But that look was very complicated for trying to get a cheap price.
This happened to me the day of my high school prom. First of all, the hairstylist had no idea how to handle curly hair. Second, she had no idea how to achieve the hairstyle I wanted. But I went home and fixed it up. I saved myself and still looked cute 😂
That’s right, I’d pay them & tell them to leave so I can fix it. Cuz addressing it will most likely make it worst & I think personally it’ll be rude to just be like “ugh! I’m gonna fix it, I don’t like it” ...whatever. I’d just pay her, have her leave & never reach out to her again :)
I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and her make up artist showed up about 2 hours late. It was crazy. She made us late for EVERYTHING! We were supposed to check out of the hotel room by a certain time and we were so behind, the hotel started knocking on the door and eventually kicked us out (they later charged my friend extra fees for staying over time). The artist still ended up getting full pay. 🙄 She did a great job with the makeup but she didn’t deserve the pay smh.
It’s really frustrating when you ask to make sure they can give you what you are going to pay for, and then turning out completely different. It’s not fair! It pisses me off because I asked beforehand and you said yes. I am not your guinea pig!! I’d be like A, but not before teaching you a lesson and making you see what you did wrong (in a respectful way) no need to put that person down. Just explain and make sure they do what you asked for and what you’ll pay for.
The hair style I wanted did not work out on my wedding day and I did indeed have that one style I could do on myself and I just added in some flowers and I loved it!
I agree with loni 100% sometimes you ask them for a kind of hairstyle you want and it end up not coming out how you wanted it so you just throw on a wig and call it a day 🤷♀️
1st. Anyone with common sense knows before you pick and hair and makeup person, you need to do a trial run. 2nd: $100 is not a lot for a wedding hairstyle so you get what you paid for
The day of my intimate ceremony my hairstylist called me 5 minutes before my makeup appointment and said she had another bridal party that added 2 more bridesmaids- like um hello I’m the BRIDE! I couldn’t even cry because my makeup was going to be done- thankfully makeupbyAlexis saved the day! She did my hair and makeup and did a kickass job! We ended up doing a family ceremony/wedding and she did both again! Thank goodness for her she made me look gorgeous! Now I’m extra careful who I book with! As far as telling them I learned I need to be open with them! If it’s not something I like I will KINDLY say something. But I realized I do enjoy the people who check in as we go. It makes the process a lot easier. For my small wedding I did a trial for both (even though she didn’t show😡) thankfully it turned out AMAZING and I did the same hairstyle and similar makeup! Go Alexis! As long as you’re nice about it it should be ok. In the end it’s not their face they would rather you be happy and keep you as a client
Communication, Ladies! If you don't like it, politely let your stylist know. Happend to me on my day. And the stylist saw my facial expressions when she showed me the mirror and she quick and eager to change it for me! This service you are paying them for you do need to be satisfied with it!
Is it me or is Jeannie getting prettier & prettier my gosh

Trial runs are normal for weddings. The stylist you book will always want to do one, especially for a wedding.
I'm with Tamera I would have a trial run of how I want my hair to look on my Wedding day. On my Wedding day and the stylist does my hair and I don't like it.
This is when a wig comes in handy… Loni 🥰🥰🥰
They’re so buzzed !!! 😂😂 love it
This show is so real the spill and everything
Omg this weight on Jeannie ❤️❤️
Jeannie just looks all around fuego here. The hair, the face, the outfit
I love that they all say "Pantis" (in spanish) now 😂😂😂😂😂 it's so cute and funny
Me too Adrian!! The slick back bun never fails!!!
Adrian is soo clumsy!!! 😂😂😂
Lmfaooooo @ the expectation vs reality ... she didn’t even hide the Bobby pins😂😂😭😭 wtf! Trial run is reqd for big days!
It's very important to know how to beautify yourself. Depending on others is a luxury not everyone has. 😘
I found my hairstylist just hours before my graduation. I was at a bank and someone in line referred him. Thank God he did a great job, it could have gone the other way lol. I made it on time to graduation right as the ceremony started:)
I have hooded eyes(hardest eyes to do makeup on) so I had a pre trial n a pre trial for my hair. For your wedding you don’t leave anything to chance .
Omg I’m so Adrienne I would literally still tip you if I am not satisfied with my nails
Yo Adrienne is mad real in this segment I love it lol
Adrienne is just too freaking CUTE❤️❤️
Jeannie was fed up with them talking and interrupting her. I don't blame her though.
0:07 Dream turned into a nightmare…. Adrienne spilled drink. 🤣
No get them out my house 😂😂
Fam, ain't no way a $100 service is gonna come with a trial 🤣
To avoid something like this it’s best to first look at pictures of their work before you sit in their chair see if they have an ig to look at their clients
You always have a TRIAL MAKEUP AND HAIR service for weddings!!!
Jeannie is so sweet refilling those drinks
I’m with Adrienne I can’t do hair either to save my life and also what Loni said get a wig or do extensions, but you always have a back up for sure!
Yes, preview trial is important. And $100 for that hairstyle is cheap.
It was actually a trial
The absolute WORST feeling is not like the way your hair/makeup/outfit came out especially when you have an important event to go to
Love this video I am just like Adrienne I do not have the guts to make someone feel bad or knock their hustle , Jeannie is looking real good these days,, women looking beautiful and pretty,, no get them out my house 😂😂😂, 🤣🤣🤣 Loni straw dropped 😂😂😂, 🤣🤣🤣, Loni is spot on, love y'all miss y'all keep it up continue watching all on RUclips,
Lmao I’m telling you! I better have a wig waiting for me just in case because. Nobody got time for that.
My sister got her makeup done for her wedding rehearsal as a trial for her wedding. Smart move.
That happened to me a lot of times, this why I now do hair by myself 🙋
Rainy Zion me too. I’ve learned to trim my hair, highlight, balayage, tone, everything! No one touches my hair anymore.
I agree do a trial run. But more importantly, at least where i live, if someone says they can do wedding hair for $100 expect that picture. You get what you pay for...pick something less complicated if you want to spend less. But that look was very complicated for trying to get a cheap price.
Loni Straw dropped 😂😂😂
💀💀💀💀tall they fr be drunk on the show!! I love it when they drunk it's so funny...loni over there spilln it too lol
This happened to me the day of my high school prom. First of all, the hairstylist had no idea how to handle curly hair. Second, she had no idea how to achieve the hairstyle I wanted. But I went home and fixed it up. I saved myself and still looked cute 😂
This is why you do a trial before the actual wedding day... as I was typing this Ade said it😂
"no, get them outta my house."
if I had a nickle for how many times I've said that lmao
Yes, Adrienne. Trial hairdo for really important events.
The spill LOL
So the drink spill led me to want to know the recipe to all the drinks they have on the show! They always look so good
It’s really frustrating when you ask to make sure they can give you what you are going to pay for, and then turning out completely different.
"No,get em out my house" 😂
The hair style I wanted did not work out on my wedding day and I did indeed have that one style I could do on myself and I just added in some flowers and I loved it!
That slick back is my go to
I agree with loni 100% sometimes you ask them for a kind of hairstyle you want and it end up not coming out how you wanted it so you just throw on a wig and call it a day 🤷♀️
1st. Anyone with common sense knows before you pick and hair and makeup person, you need to do a trial run.
2nd: $100 is not a lot for a wedding hairstyle so you get what you paid for
The hair was actually a trial run, not the ceremony
U gotta see their work before you go!! A must!!
Communication, Ladies! If you don't like it, politely let your stylist know. Happend to me on my day. And the stylist saw my facial expressions when she showed me the mirror and she quick and eager to change it for me!
This service you are paying them for you do need to be satisfied with it!
