I decided it was time to give that a change and dove into the science of sleep inertia. I have to say, I’ve noticed keeping your room cool does the opposite for me upon every single observation. Getting up in my underwear and needing to get my work clothes on, being cold adds to my sleep inertia and I badly want to get under covers which takes a couple seconds. When the room is warm I feel more comfortable to stay out of bed and take the minute to put my clothes on which then keep me warm.
Other than that this information is great and as often as I look into this I never see people giving more that the same couple basic facts you see everywhere. I love how you split shit into the psychological and physiological aspects. Very informative

thats correct for a majority of people because your body actually wants a good area to lower body temperature to help fall asleep.
Also in the morning if you're cold your body is going to want to stay in warmth, influencing you to stay asleep.
my tip is: sleep in cool environments.
have 3 layers of clothing near your bed (dont use a space heater cause if you fall asleep you can have a fire)

My personal favourite method to get out the bed: Immediately chucking the covers onto the other side of the floor the moment I wake up 😂
