Those ✨cue card transitions ✨
🤌
Great video but gradient is change in y/change in x.
Very useful ways on how to use cue cards. Keep up with the work. Thank you!!!
Thank you SO much for this, it's so helpful as I'm heading to my AS-level exams this October, and I was nervous about approaching revision
watched your previous videos on gcse revision tips where you mentioned cue cards and they literally work!! I gave my IGCSE exams this feb and smashed them 😁 thank you!! loving the content 😀
hey were you able to read his cue cards
@@tibi8592 no, I made my own
Thanks a lot mate. I watch a lot of your videos and Im in year 10. Ive been struggling a lot in my subjects due to me slacking off but i found your videos a few months ago and they really helped. Thank you so much
That’s wicked 🙌🏽 Glad I could help :))
Really enjoyed watching this! Great video :) x
The best explanation I have seen on active recall and space repetition application👍
Glad it’s helpful ❤️
Yesss so excited for this thank you!! 💕💕💕
Anytime :))
Absolute banger Jake!! Will you be making an Anki tutorial as well?
loving the transitions
Glad to hear it 😝❤️
I do the SAME AND I GOT 7A*s in my GCEs last year!
Hey Jake, just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love your videos and wish you nothing but success, happiness, and pure contentment with everything you persue in life. With that being said, could you (sometime in the future) make a video addressing all of your A Level subjects and one by one talking about how hard they were and what tips you would give. It would be really awesome if you could, but if you can't never mind!
Letssss goooo this is going to help me soooo much. Thanks you so much 👍👍👍
Anytimeee :))
Can you do a video on how you make cue cards for maths specifically?
Yo I just bought your chem cue cards
It’s looking good man
Been waiting for this one and I already know it's gonna be a banger!
Hope it helps ❤️
Hi jake u really helped me with revising for my tests recently so thx
Anytime bro 💙
@@JakeClarke if I want to buy maths cue cards of the website from the description for GCSEs are they yours? And also is it just one cue card or all of them
I am in year 9 so knowing this will be so helpful as we are starting out gcse coursework this year. 10/10 vid for me
Great video thanks much appreciated 👍🔆🔥
Anytime ❤️❤️
Glad flash cards are getting the respect they deserve. They single handedly aced my gcses.
Thank you!
Great job
Can’t wait to hear this amazing advice!
❤️❤️❤️
Same
Love this :) x
Glad to hear it 🙌🏽❤️
You’re an inspiration
❤️❤️❤️
Wow 10/10 answered all my questions. Congrats 🎉. I was wondering how many mocks do u have in one year of sixth form ?
It varies by school but we had 3 sets :))
Can you post a video on how to tackle maths a level tips and just an overview of how to stay on top of it 🤝
thank you so muchhh
Got my last exams for this year this week and this is sooooo helpful
Glad to hear it 🙌🏽❤️
Would definitely love a video on why you used physical flashcards instead of digital ones, e.g. Anki
Like your name
Just gonna comment. I prefer to use physical flashcards as it has been scientifically proven that people who write down notes, answers etc, have a better chance of remembering and doing well than those who type notes or use digital flashcards.
Of course it does take longer, but this was taken into account during the experiment. Some experiments even had students do a test right after the class had finished, some a few days later so they wouldn't have extra time to revise.
Sorry for that little rant.
Made it so clear to understand this is why I watch your vids.
great video
Thanks 😊
Literally my saviour 💯
Love man ❤️
What can I say to the man who even got me motivated to study, let alone giving a whole plan of action 💛
Please make a vid on anki or anki vs physical flashcards. Love the vid, found it really helpful.
Will do :))
Yes definitely! I'm starting A Levels next year and I'm still trying to figure out if Anki would be better than physical flashcards
@@Tomas-12345 same here.
Was literally thinking about this earlier today then I see this video..
Love it 😂
i’m year 10 and i’m going to use this technique for year 11! thank you so much :)
Anytime :))
I’m in year 10 as well bro good luck
@@olivercripps4422 you too!
@@JakeClarke :DD pls upload this!!!
Omg I love it
I'm about to go to year 9 this year and I need some advice to get good grades, love your vids btw
You are the biggest help uno
Thanks man! Glad to hear it
Hi Jake, on your website it says that you made 514 chem cards, how did you condense all the info into just 514 cards? I use anki and have just started year 12 and already have more than this and I really want to have less so that it’s more manageable. Any advice on how you condensed so much would be so appreciated!
would you recommend doing cue cards or anki or both?
Now this people, this is what I call 'Greatness'.
That’s a wicked pfp 😂
@JakeClarke thanks.
How did no one noticed that he said gradient is change in x over change in y when it’s acc change in y over change in x
Legend
❤️
Is using the spec to make ur cue cards good
Thanks
Anytime!
Anki vs cue cards video ASAP pls
Im scared on where to start. Like I've never made a cue card but have done so many topics. What should I do
hey whats the book you used in the video?
What subjects did you take at gcse and a level?
So all of the cue cards that you are selling you used for chemistry got you that A* for as and a level mocks
Jake, ops on watching freesciencelessons, making notes from the videos and then flashcards from the notes?
Great idea! He’s a king 👑
@@JakeClarke Also Jake in your opinion, which one is better? freesciencelessons or the oxford specification-based textbooks?
My revision starts with writing notes in lesson then writing a Cue Card on it. However I am thinking of including the ' leitner technique as it uses spaced repetition and active recall. Jake what are your thoughts on that. Cheers 👍
Yeah that sounds like a good idea! If you think it’ll work for you, go for it :)
Thanks 👍
Same with me
Can you please do a video on how you got 9s in science?
Most viewed video on my channel
🔥🔥
When did you start revising for gcse ?
i got 3 weeks until gcse what should i do
Bro for u I was predicted a 5 in science and in my mocks I got a 7,7,8
Literally I'm using the same method but I make anki flashcards for bio chem and maths and review the cards daily and let the anki algorithm do the spaced repetition
However I must admit that anki is much harder to use and has a less user friend interface but you can add things like gifs images you can get addons like enhanced image occlusion that make up for the fact that it's difficult to
Over time it also becomes easier to use
Yeah anki definitely has its benefits! For sure need to improve their interface though 😂
1. Which one do you think is better? Surface pro or your Aero laptop. Explain....
2. And what laptop do you recommend to students....
3.And are chromebooks goood
1 - Aero as it’s more practical for my roles (editing, work etc)
2 - Recommend the surface pro or an iPad Pro as the ability to move between a tablet and laptop is so so helpful!
3 - I’ve never used one so wouldn’t be that helpful ahahaha
Would you recommend using Anki, Cue cards, or both?
Both
Hey jakeee...i wanted to ask what startup internship are you. Doinggg....😁😊😊
I’m working with this startup called mana. It’s still in a very early phase but it’s essentially an all in one digital identity for creators to bring together all of their content to streamline the process for themself and their viewers :)
Are you going to release any other cue cards? E.g. History
Potentially yeah :) just need to find them 😂
Do u reckon I should use anki or physical or do u think it doesn’t matter
It doesn’t really matter in my opinion :) Both have their benefits
@@JakeClarke oh thank you good vid also what Career are you looking to pursue
💫💯💥
Can u provide a structure in terms of how you revise a level physics? I done questions but when I'm doing the test I feel like many questions I didn't understand or come across during revision
should I write the flashcards on paper or make them online (e.g. Anki)
make physical cue cards covering the content and any cards that you keep getting wrong, put them on anki (he did a video on it)
in terms of memorising flashcards it’s better to do it by hand however soon I realised how easy it is to misplace them, lose a card with potential important info and having to go through all of them just to find one specific one when in comparison you can make flash cards on quizlet for example and do control f and search for whatever word you wish. I mean if you’re organised then there should be no issue with doing paper ones.
why did u use physical cue cards and not anki
Because of ankis interface. I preferred to be able to add bits to my cue cards and highlight etc
@@JakeClarke you can do that in anki as well, but your choice; you got all 9s so i can't say much hahaha. love your vids
Which college are you going to? And what major? Btw love your vids
Bath Uni for Automotive Engineering :)) Thank you 🙏
@@JakeClarke good luck in uni❤️❤️
how can I go from foundation to higher in gcse maths ?
are u still practising for maths rn?
@@bhg582 I have been self teaching gcse maths foundation topics since end of march & I try to do at least 1-2 hours everyday
🤗🤗
❤️
gcse start in less than 2 months, not much revision done :/
Wow
Wowaweewa
almost first
Close one!!
wouldn't using a flashcard app such as anki or quizlet be more practical as you don't end up with hundreds of flashcards
I'm not watching this to procrastinate studying physics i swear im not
😂😂
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
:)
:)
7:30 u accidentally wrote cars instead of cards
I’m such a mug 😂
