A little of both basically. I’d use the questions I wrote to test myself but also read the title of the cue card and try to think about what was on it. For example for the Romeo and juliet when I read the honour card, I would try to think of how the theme honour ran through the play and check the cards after
meh, Based on predicted grades I got a 7 and a 6 but I'm not too angry considering the fact that I got a 8/9 in every other subject except Maths !!!!!!!

@@mohammadhij08 I got a 5. Can’t lie I just watched Mr Bruff for inspector calls, Macbeth and Christmas carol. Went through each character with quotes to back it up. I had at least 10 quotes memorized. Also use Mr salles, there’s a 45 minute video that explains the whole of Macbeth. That helped me alot

Hi Jake, I have a question : I do Frankenstein for my 19th century novel, but I would like to change the text to something like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde or A Christmas carol because there are a lot more revision resources. For a bit of context I do AQA. I asked my teacher, and he never let me finish my sentence and said NO immediately. What's even worst is that he said we study everything in depth. But we started Power and conflict, and I only have about 3 words for my annotations since he doesn't explain anything. So my question is can I choose the texts I do once I'm in the actual GCSE exam so I can revise a different text and choose that text in the actual GCSE?????
@@JakeClarke yea I did really well in bio mocks but chemistry and physics I did terrible cos I didn’t really like science mostly cos of my teachers but I got a new teacher and I’ve met new people and realised that I wanted to pursue science and I’ve improved so much in chem and physics and it’s what I want to choose for a levels but now I don’t even get a test to prove it. Which is annoying. The announcements should’ve happened earlier but what can u do

Honestly I’m not really sure. Think it will be a combination of internal exams so like mocks etc and other factors (no idea what they will be)

Yes you can, the questions for all of the choices of text will be on the exam and you can talk about a different text or poem anthology if you like
