I would not argue that,, but a poll on the best front man or front woman does not go together two totally different categories and you cannot base it on body of work! The Rolling Stones for instants have a much much larger body of work you should’ve base the pole on that category!! I’m just saying that is my opinion but I love Fleetwood Mac lol
I love Stevie Nicks. I love Fleetwood Mac. Stevie is the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. LEGEND! You guys should check out the Midnight Special with Fleetwood Mac singing Rhiannon. It was the first time I saw Stevie perform and I fell in love with her and her style!
The guitarist playing that riff is Waddy Wachtel. He's a legendary session guitarist. He's one of those guys you've heard a hundred times and never knew it.
The man has been playing for so long he's been in so many hits including Wear Wolfs of London but his best work is no doubt his guitar work in the song Lost Due to Incompetent from the movie Up In Smoke.
Love Stevie Nick and Fleetwood Mac. Check out her few duets she did one with Don Henley I think it was called Leather and Lace, Tome Petty Stop Dragging My Heart Around, and Kenny Loggins Whenever I Call You My Friend.
Fleetwood Mac performed the song Rhiannon on the Midnight Special program in 1976 and Stevie killed it! The ending is pretty intense, you guys will love it...
Wow that's so cool that you remember when you 1st heard this song. I, at 62 can STILL hear a 60's/70s song & know exactly where I was, what I was doing, who I was with, etc.! ✌🏽🩵🕊
She IS an angel. Natural beauty back then boys. She is so humble, the way she took the flowers and thanked everyone and said she LOVED them. Well, we LOVE her too. Thank you for reacting to it, from a NEW subscriber.
Love Stevie! She is touring now and I`m actually going to go see her in May(I live in N.C. and will see her in Raleigh) I can`t wait! Y`all should definitely check her out!Keep On Rockin'
I am so grateful you guys posted this. I don’t care what color you are or where you’re from but Stevie Nicks is a living legend. She was a kick ass rock ‘n’ roll star who tore up the stage! The guitar riffs, and her raspy voice, absolutely nails, this performance!
You haven't heard of the Hollies? You must check out their song Long Cool Woman...classic...so good! And for a different style of theirs but really deep try He aint heavy, he's my brother. Stevie is the most gorgeous female songwriter/singer ever, you should listen to her songs I can't wait and Stand back both from the 80's, just amazing you'll love them. Back in 83 this concert was televised in Adelaide in Simulacast which meant it was on tv and the radio in sync...someone gave her a white dove which she had on her hand and she tried to release it but it wouldn't leave her, an incredible thing!
I think you're thinking of the Rumors album. Nick Fleetwood is the tall guy on the cover but it was Lindsey Buckingham who had a long term relationship with Stevie Nicks.
Yes. Stevie had a great solo career as well. She's in the R and R HOF both as a member of FM and as a single artist. She also was an honorary member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Recording and playing live with them for several years
Christine McPhee just died and she was a member of Fleetwood Mac along with Stevie Nicks. Stevie didn’t die and she’s touring right now. She still selling sold out concert venues at 75 years old. She is a force to be reckoned with and probably one of the top five female vocalist of all time. She can tear up the stage.
I’m 54 and been listening to Max and Stevie my whole life..my mom is 72 and Stevie and rest of Mac are same age or older and still killing it! It’s phenomenal!
The Goat Waddy Watchtel on guitar hitting those nasty riffs is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The man has been around for so long playing backup guitar for every great band and the sad thing is he was better than most of the lead guitarist. The song Lost due to Incompetent from the movie Up in Smoke is his best guitar work to this day.Keep up the good reviews guys!!!
A lot of us had a major crush on Stevie. In my opinion, one of the greatest female artist of all time. It could be argued she is the greatest. Mick Jagger is great but Stevie Is as you said an angel.
Another big Stevie Nicks hit is "Stand Back." She sent Prince the song and asked if he would play on the song. He called her and went in the studio the same day...laid down the legendary opening...left and she never saw him again.
Sort of right. She heard ''Little Red Corvette'' while in the car and came up with "Stand Back.'' She stopped at an electronics store to get a tape recorder before she forgot it. She called Prince and told him that she kinda of stole his song, haha. She then played what they had in studio and he told her he was coming over. So, yeah, that's Prince playing keys and synth but he didn't care about his name being put on the credits.
Omg! I correctly answered two trivia questions that Smokey missed...that's unheard of. Back in the day, every guy on the planet had a crush on Stevie Nicks or Farrah Fawcett & every girl on the planet either had or wanted hair like Stevie Nicks or Farrah Fawcett. I had Stevie's hair...same color, same style. And oddly, notice her drummer looked like a blonder version of Mick Fleetwood...hmmm interesting-was that a subconscious hiring choice?
I've seen Stevie with and without Fleetwood Mac several times , most recently in September '22...she is still a fabulous performer and I felt it was the best show of hers that I've ever seen...great reaction!
This is solo Stevie. I believe the keyboardist was Roy Bittan of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. And Benmont Tench of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on organ. Her backing vocalists are still her backing vocalists 40+ years later, Sharon Celani and Lori Nicks (her second ex-husband is Stevie's brother). Destiny's Child (Beyonce & co) sampled this song for "Bootylicious."
My favorite Stevie, Fleetwood Mac performance is gonna always be Sisters of the Moon 1982 Mirage tour. But i warn you, if you dare watch it, be prepared. It is one of the most emotionally powerful performances ive ever watched. It is on youtube but im worthless at figuring out how to send a link.
The album is Rumors. It had just come out when I saw them live. Wore that black and white FM t shirt all summer. On the album cover it's Stevie and Mick Fleetwood. Her man was Lindsey Buckingham.
Stevie Nicks is a rarity in that she has a career with Fleetwood Mac as well as a huge solo career. Dreams, Rhiannon, Gypsy, Landslide are her songs people know from Fleetwood Mac while songs like Edge of Seventeen, Stand Back, I Can't Wait, Leather and Lace, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, and many more are from her solo albums.
Such a great way to wake up!! Oh hell ya! Was looking forward to this reaction!! Stevie nicks is one of my fav artists! I grew up listening to her/Fleetwood Mac. This song is off her album Belladonna. You should do "stand back" by her. (The one where prince wrote the synthesiser for.) Anyways great choice guys!!!❤️🤓👍🤘
At 15 my first concert was Fleetwood Mac on the Rumours tour in 1977. Fleetwood Mac (and so many other great 70s bands!) were the soundtrack of my youth and young adulthood. I feel very lucky in that regard. Thanks for the great reaction!
Edge of 17 was Stevie's solo debut. She and Lindsey were a couple by the time they joined Fleetwood Mac in the 70s. Most people don't realize that Fleetwood Mac was originally a blues based band in the late 60s. When she and Lindsey joined, they helped change their sound. The song may seem familiar because the song was sampled on Destiny's Child track Bootylicious. The inspiration for the title came from her friend Tom Petty's wife at the time. Tom's wife had a very strong southern accent and Stevie asked her how old they were when they met. The wife said the age of 17, but with the accent it sounded like edge of 17.
Look up Crossroads episode, kinda recent. She sings some of her songs, with Lady Antebellem,a country group. It is really good and she gives some insight to her life too.
Hey Hollywood... Clutch wrote a song about ya!!! 😉 "I fell madly in love with, Some brand of Stevie Nicks Oh, I begged and I pleaded like a fiend for a fix" - Sucker for the Witch (It's a banger too 😁)
You should have stood six feet from Stevie in 1975 when she was with Fleetwood Mac. I was just seventeen when that happened to me. October 12, 1975 in a college student union hall. Trust me! She was an angel 👼🏼. Beginning of the “Rumors” tour I believe. Stevie was my first real in person up close celebrity crush. The whole band was amazing, but Stevie stole my ❤. ✌🏼😎
Stevie was speaking with Tom Petty's girlfriend or wife and she was talking about when she met Tom. It was at the age of 17. She had such a strong southern accent, Stevie thought she said edge. She liked the line so much she used it in this song.
When you said he was playing with his hands. I LOL'd.. That is the great Bobbye Hall and she is a she. One of the top percussionists to ever live. She was also part of that magic Motown neighborhood (Her back yard touched Aretha's)and usually gets lost when people compile all the greats that game from that small, legendary section of the world..
Bro, I, too, have a huge mf’ing crush on Stevie Nicks. Like, when I watch the live version of “Rhinnanon”, for example, I totally stare at her the whole time. Not in a creepy way. In a, “I’m in total awe of her. The whole package. Unique voice. Stage presence. And, yes, beauty. I’m a f*****g fan boy, G. Oh well🤷♂️🤘
Her favorite backup singer was SANDY STEWART . I BELIEVE IT WAS SS WHO SANG THE BACK UP VOCALS ON THIS SONG & MANY MORE. SANDY STEWART CAME OUT WITH HER OWN ALBUM ' CAT DANCER' IN 83-1984. HER ONLY CHARTED SONG FROM THAT ALBUM WAS " SADDEST VICTORY." 1983.
I saw Fleetwood Mac in Reno Nevada some years back and it was incredible. Her voice is so distinct and she wore the same type of dress but it was black.
Ahh, Stevie in the coke years! Man, that stuff made her speak in tongues. I think it did permanent damage. Fortunately, she put out some great music before it was too late. Good reaction, guys. Y'all should watch the whole concert this video was taken from. It's so good.
Stevie is an absolute legend
I would not argue that,, but a poll on the best front man or front woman does not go together two totally different categories and you cannot base it on body of work! The Rolling Stones for instants have a much much larger body of work you should’ve base the pole on that category!! I’m just saying that is my opinion but I love Fleetwood Mac lol
It's ok, we all have a crush on Stevie, her angelic presence has embraced every man to set eyes on her.
Shit I’m a straight female and Ive had a crush on her for years. Lol
She has an easy way to take over guys that way.
Stevie inspired so much fashion and so much emotion.
Yes, he's played on Stevies albums and concerts. He also played with Linda Ronstadt. Not bad. 👍
The man has been playing for so long he's been in so many hits including Wear Wolfs of London but his best work is no doubt his guitar work in the song Lost Due to Incompetent from the movie Up In Smoke.
She's still going strong! Going to see her in concert in May. Guys, she'll be in Atlanta then, too!
Was lucky enough to have the chance to see Stevie Nicks in 89, was in the 3rd row & she was absolutely amazing.
One of my favorite live music videos.Thia shows Stevie's voice, beauty, charidma, and the pure love from her fans. ❤️
As well as her love towards her fans.
Love Stevie Nick and Fleetwood Mac. Check out her few duets she did one with Don Henley I think it was called Leather and Lace, Tome Petty Stop Dragging My Heart Around, and Kenny Loggins Whenever I Call You My Friend.

Looove Stevie Nicks voice , no one like it !!! Shes so amazing
You should listen to the Hollies. Their song, Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress, is a banger.
Yes!
Love Stevie! She is touring now and I`m actually going to go see her in May(I live in N.C. and will see her in Raleigh) I can`t wait! Y`all should definitely check her out!Keep On Rockin'
Same here. See you at PNC!
Stevie Nick's voice is out of this world
I am so grateful you guys posted this. I don’t care what color you are or where you’re from but Stevie Nicks is a living legend. She was a kick ass rock ‘n’ roll star who tore up the stage! The guitar riffs, and her raspy voice, absolutely nails, this performance!
stevie nicks and lindsey buckingham had an album out as a duet before they joined Fleetwood Mac, you can find it here on YT
Buckingham Nicks
Stevie is still on tour this year at 74 years old and is doing shows with Billy Joel
there are people who actually choose to dislike Stevie Nicks?!?!?!? I do not believe it.
You haven't heard of the Hollies? You must check out their song Long Cool Woman...classic...so good! And for a different style of theirs but really deep try He aint heavy, he's my brother. Listen to Stop Dragging My Heart Around. And me I'm definitely in between. She's not in my top 100 singers but she's very legendary and interesting.
Stevie is one of the best. I love the end. The love shared between our artists and their fans. Great time to be alive.
I think you're thinking of the Rumors album. Nick Fleetwood is the tall guy on the cover but it was Lindsey Buckingham who had a long term relationship with Stevie Nicks.
Hollywood..(.this is pure nostalgia for me too! I remember mama putting on her Stevie nicks records for me.) Some good memories!❤️❤️
Yes. Stevie had a great solo career as well. She's in the R and R HOF both as a member of FM and as a single artist.
She also was an honorary member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Recording and playing live with them for several years
Doesn't get much better. Rock on Stevie 🤘🌹😎
Who doesn’t LOVE Stevie…yet to meet one…..And she is an amazing songwriter……the album was Rumors you were trying to think of.
You may have heard the Hollies with the song Long Cool Woman in the Black Dress.
Momma used to clean the house to this back in the day :)
Same here!!!
My mom would always blast Stevie Nicks or Fletwood Mac on the home stereo during the summer so it brings back a lot of memories growing up
The opening guitar is used by Destiny's Child - Bootilicious ;)
Sometimes it's a bitch - my favorite Stevie song written by John Bon Jovi. She asked John to write a song describing her. ❤️🇧🇻
Knew many a girl that was a Stevie fanatic back in the day. She is legend! The Lord blessed her with such an incredible voice.
50 years… so many have tried to replicate Stevie’s presence and voice. None have even come close.
QUEEN OF ROCK FOREVER ! You have no idea of the capability of that woman . She is a god among women
I’m 54 and been listening to Max and Stevie my whole life..my mom is 72 and Stevie and rest of Mac are same age or older and still killing it! It’s phenomenal!

Fleetwood Mac singing Rhiannon live on the Midnight Special is a must see performance. Stevie just goes off and shows why she is a superstar.
This is solo Stevie. I believe the keyboardist was Roy Bittan of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. And Benmont Tench of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on organ. Destiny's Child (Beyonce & co) sampled this song for "Bootylicious."
The White Witch has my vote! (Even though “Paint it Black” is my fave Rolling Stones song). Love Stevie. Love Fleetwood Mac.
Stevie ,Stevie Can't you see how your looks and voice just hypnotizes me! her solo stuff was solid!
No one has a voice like Stevies and no one ever will.❤
This song was on her first solo album in the early 80s. She's been solo ever since.
She was so emotional..her best friend had just died from cancer and this was the last show on the tour. A real Queen…🖤🕊️🎩
She was my first concert. With Joe Walsh. Amazing show.
The album is Rumors. It had just come out when I saw them live. Wore that black and white FM t shirt all summer.
On the album cover it's Stevie and Mick Fleetwood. Her man was Lindsey Buckingham.
Ohhhh this was my best reaction of HOLLYWOOD HE IS SOOO SWEET 💕💕💕
As a metal head I love me some Stevie nicks damn I love her💞 don't know how she is now going to see her on may 12
One of the most beautiful ladies to be in the scene. Even today @ 74 yrs old, Stevie is still a very beautiful angelic human.
That looked like mick fleetwood on drums that's the tall guy you are talking about
I'm with you Hollywood I had posters of her on every wall of my bedroom she's an absolute legend ❤️!!!
Stevie Ray Vaughan "Voodoo Child" live in Nashville.
I love Stevie....great pipes! Hey,speaking of The Hollies.....ya gotta check out "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress"! Classic rock from 1972!
Stevie is Queen!✌️😊🧿 gotta do Stand Back!!
Yes!!!! One of my fav songs!!!
Years ago, my mother got to see Stevie Nicks live in concert in NYC. She said it wasn't an amazing concert to watch live.
The words of a poet and the voice of a choir...

Stevie had supermodel looks and one of the best voices of her generation. I love Fleetwood Mac, but I fucking adore Stevie's solo work.
This song is from a Nicks solo album, "Bella Donna."
GREAT ALBUM! love the album cover!!
It was likely the Fleetwood Mac “Rumours” album….. and the tall guy on the cover is Mick Fleetwood… the drummer. 👍
Loved y’all’s reaction ✌🏻 y’all can come to the Gen X cookouts 🎉😂
Shes still doing concerts! Will be in Atlanta!!
My daughter Sydney and I got to go see Fleetwood Mac 3 yrs ago and sharing that experience with her was beyond EPIC ❤
At 15 my first concert was Fleetwood Mac on the Rumours tour in 1977. Fleetwood Mac (and so many other great 70s bands!) were the soundtrack of my youth and young adulthood. I feel very lucky in that regard. Thanks for the great reaction!
Where have you guys been? You haven't come uo on my utube rotation in a while. I was 18 when this came out on HBO in 1982, I loved it. Holds uo well.
That Stevie crush speech was adorable ❤

Stevie's amazing... Such an incredible talent. And the only woman who looks more like Princess Leia than Princess Leia does 😂
Hey Hollywood... Clutch wrote a song about ya!!! 😉
"I fell madly in love with,

Stevie nicks my favorite female vocalist all time!!!
Absolutely. She is timeless.
Oh well🤷♂️🤘
Yes Rihanna by Fleetwood on midnight special, live performance...This was her concert shown on HBO
I remember listening to this on 8-track heh. Classic.

Great reaction lad’s her voice just melt’s your soul absolutely outstanding ❤🇺🇸🏴
Stevie is still rockin!
Destiny's Child used this guitar part in their song "Bootylicious"....fyi...and Stevie did have solo albums, so not all were with Fleetwood Mac...
I saw Fleetwood Mac in Reno Nevada some years back and it was incredible. Her voice is so distinct and she wore the same type of dress but it was black.
I put on the best of Fleetwood Mac when I'm driving 🚗 🎶 😌 and crank that baby up
Absolutely love stevie knicks 😍😍😍
I don't think smokey knew what to do during Holywoods fan boying over Stevie speech 🤣
😂😂😂
i love Stevie! her voice is one of the best ever
Ahh, Stevie in the coke years! Man, that stuff made her speak in tongues. I think it did permanent damage. Fortunately, she put out some great music before it was too late.
Good reaction, guys. Y'all should watch the whole concert this video was taken from. It's so good.
Stevie Nicks had a solo career, had her own songs. A big one was Stand Back.
The queen- writes a song about her ex and he has to play it because he is in the band. Love her!
Seen them 70, warm up band for Deep Purple. 3rd row, they rocked.
You said rest in peace and scared the shit out of me! She's not dead, thank God. I had to look. lol
Solo album called Belladonna, absolutely timeless and amazing!!
I saw her in concert in Houston several years ago. She's crazy good live.
