Stevie is a legit rock-n-roll star...she' the only woman ever inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. Once with Fleetwood Mac and once as a solo artist.
I don’t know, I think Heart is quite legit. I mean how many bands can sing Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin without destroying it? Not many. Heart did, and they nailed it! Even Robert Plant, himself, praised them for it. If you have never heard them sing it, you should check it out. It’s awesome.
I was in love with her since i first heard her voice. Then when i first laid eyes on her I was blown away how beautiful and demanding confidence she had just by her appearance.
Love hearing anything Stevie, she is a Queen!! On her own and with Fleetwood Mac, she kills it! Humble suggestions: "LANSLIDE" "Dreams" "The Chain" "Go Your Own Way"
The only person I’ve ever heard come close is Miley Cyrus, now that she’s doing rock. In her collab with Stevie, Edge of Midnight, Stevie sings in the background and I legit could not tell it was her until I listened very closely.
My mom wanted to name me Rhiannon because of that song. I was raised on Fleetwood Mac other Classic Rock legends so even though I'm only 35 I still know and respect the hell outta these bands.
At 17 I had already been married a year. No, I wasnt pregnant and have to get married. He was my soul mate from the 1st time i layed eyes on him when I was 13 yrs old. Too scared to talk to him but I just knew. I found him again when I was 16 and that was the begining of an amazing life together. It will be 33 yrs in May and we have a 25 yr old son that the drs told me I would never conceive. Ive been blessed so many times over the years. God is good.
She was so emotional in this concert, she only did 12 shows for the Belladonna album, at this point she thought her solo career was over, and she had to get back to Fleetwood Mac to do the Mirage album but she was happy to have had a solo career, not knowing at the time that her solo career has lasted til this day, that the edge walk at the end when her fans gives her flowers and gifts, that's has been a tradition of hers since that show...
She will be forever embedded into your brain!!! She's had that effect on many people!!! Hauntingly, spectacular voice!!!!! When this came out in 1981 i was 29 and completely addicted to her and Fleetwood Mac!!!!!! And I still am!!!🤟🎶🎼🎵🎧
I was born in 81' there isn't a time I don't remember them in my house. Love Lindsey his talent is sexy,Christie is enchanting and adore Stevies presence. One of the best parts of my childhood was this white cassette.
I was born in 79, but this song has shaped the way I look at life, her vice is beyond amazing and she truly deserves any good that has come to her because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there are others beside me has have been affected more than anyone can believe. Stevie is a living legend!
I used to watch a show that was called the Midnight Special, we would stay up until Midnight to watch...that was the first time we ever got to see what our fav bands looked like other than an album cover!!! I remember watching Aerosmith when they were on in 78 I believe. and also REO.....I was so excited.....good times past for sure....thanks for making me smile and bounce around the kitchen
there is a video of her (& her band, Fleetwood Mac) doing their song Rhiannon on RUclips somewhere that is just amazing, Its even better when you realize it was just a rehearsal for a tv show they were doing.
Yup very good live my man. She is the real deal. Grew up in the 70's listening to Fleetwood Mac. Then she went solo when i was in my twenties. Here we are today and i still love her and her music.
Was stationed in Germany in the late 70's when i saw her with Fleetwood Mac for the first time.what an incredible show.have seen her a few times solo and she is mesmerizing.i'm 66 yrs old and she will always be my rock and roll goddess. Thanks for a great reaction .
I was 7 years old. Her first solo album, BELLA DONNA, released in mid-Summer 1981, was a special audio and radio experience. It went #1 and double platinum inside of 3 months. She got a Grammy nomination for this song/single.
I was lucky enough to meet her a few times in the late 80's through the company I worked for. She was so much smaller that I expected; very beautiful and was always very nice.
I was in my 20's/30's and as a black woman I was a proud Stevie Nicks'er Got a chance to see her in concert (after she went solo). She and the Heart duo were my girls! I have all of their albums...yeah on vinyl!
I was 27 years old when this song released. I had moved to California and was partying down. Now I'm 67. Not partying much anymore but still love me some Stevie Nicks....lol
OMG, I was literally the title - 16 years old when I first heard this song. LOL. I feel so lucky to have seen her many many times, both as a solo artist and in Fleetwood Mac. True queen of rock - as a young girl she made me feel like I could do anything.
I've seen her live once and was supposed to see her with Fleetwood Mac and they canceled the concert in Pittsburgh because she was sick, saddest day of my life. So jelly that you got to see them perform together. You are blessed!
I was 17 when this song was released. Just unbelievable how it went with my life. She was,and is, an amazing inspiration. Her music is the soundtrack of my life. Please react to the music video of Stand Back by her... or ... Fleetwood Mac Rhiannon 1976 live... she was truly mesmerizing then. We ALL fell in love with her.
I was 25 when it came out. Leather and Lace came out that year also with Don Henley. Beautiful song. Also, the year Stop Draggin' My Heart Around with Tom Petty. Another great one.
Stevie is queen! So many of her songs with and without Fleetwood Mac are amazing, you should check out her singing Wild Heart backstage at Rolling Stone shoot.... Rhiannon from the Rosebud documentary or Silver Springs in 1997 from The Dance I wasn’t even born when this was released, but FM and Stevie are my music catalog
My wife and I discovered you tonight through this video, and I just say we really enjoyed it! Much thanks for letting us join you on your discovery of one of our favorite performers!!
Stevie! my spirit animal- LOVE her solo and with Fleetwood Mac! Literally ICONIC! Please go down that rabbit hole- They got together for a concert well up in their age- and sounded better than EVER! There’s a LOT of chemistry- band mates dating, etc.. caused a bit of a riff a lot of times- BUT, give them their instruments and voice..and it came out in their music and lyrics making it all the better- Real life stuff- The concert is called “The Dance.” PHENOMENAL!! 👍✌️
I was 7 yrs old. Older sister 16 yrs old use to drive me to school in her corvette and played this every morning. I wanted to be just like them both. ❤
Stevie's performances are still an experience. Saw her a few years ago and it was amazing. She still tours with Sharon, one of her long-time background singers, in this video.
18 yrs old working in a factory living in my first apartment. I would bring a boom box to work and we would rock threw our shift. I've seen Stevie solo and with Fleetwood Mac.
1981. I was married to my first husband. We ran a karate gym together in Philly, and music was our outlet from strenuous, intense teaching. When Stevie came out with Bella Donna, we bought it and blasted it. The 80's was a magical time in music. No autotune and real instruments were played. The time of Kansas, Journey, Pat Benatar, U2, Van Halen......the list is long.
There are certain artist that are just so unique that you do not have to like them but you damn sure have to respect their work. She is as much of a devil as she is an angel. When she takes the stage she is going to lift you high and bring you low. She will make you smile from ear to ear and make you bawl your eyes out. At the end of a concert you were emotionally drained and you loved her even more. One minute your grooving to Outside the Rain, next your rocking out to Stop Dragging My Heart Around, then your crying why she sings Sara or Rhiannon, before you know it your feet are moving and your singing along to Stand Back or Edge of Seventeen, and then she hits you with Landslide or Crystal. It's probably why this video has 500 likes and 0 Dislikes at the time I leave this comment.
I was nearly five when this song came out. It’s an awesome song. You like this song, you should check out, If Anyone Falls In Love, Dreams, Landslide. Stevie Nicks has amazing talent.
In the 80's at concerts people bought flowers and would give to the singers/bands! I gave J.T from Cool and the gang flowers he stopped singing they put the light on me and him and he thanked me... I cried lol great memories thanks Billy 😊
I was 16 when this album came out. On the edge of 17, literally. She was big from Fleetwood Mac. She was the first of the 3 singer song writers from Fleetwood Mac to release a solo album with this album. They were huge. We loved them, we loved her. Fleetwood Mac released an album Mirage the next year, my senior year. I grew up with that incarnation of Fleetwood Mac. I love the kick down to teen violence in the song. Doves are a symbol of peace, hence the doves crying. Super soulful performer. Intimate writer. Humble. Class. Rock legend now days.
every time i hear Stevie sing - solo or with fleetwood mac (it takes me back to being young and innocent and wanting to be Stevie from the age of like 3) one of my earliest memories is at a fleetwood mac concert back when i was 4 (in the mid 70s). Dreams is one of the first songs i ever learned the lyrics too (my parents were young and hippies so no normal nursrey rhymes for me, just rock and roll). of course i cant hold a note compared to her so life marches on but just the first chord of her music and i'm back there before having to grow up.
Stevies been making music longer than I e been alive. Queen 👑 Get familiar with Stevie!!! You should already know who she is. One of the biggest female rock stars ever!!
Stevie is so very unique... and as great as her younger years were, I love her more recent stuff too... especially her "Trouble in Shangri-La" record - Bombay Sapphires, Too Far From Texas, Sorcerer, Every Day - sooo good
Everybody loves stevie! Rock goddesss. Oh that unique voice. I would have been about 12 when I heard this. I've loved her ever since- just an fyi i'm primarily a metal head but I listen to many genres.
Stevie is a legit rock-n-roll star...she' the only woman ever inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. Once with Fleetwood Mac and once as a solo artist.
what about joan jett?
@@caligal1090 Joan Jett has once been inducted once.
Her, Joan and Lzzy are goats
I don’t know, I think Heart is quite legit. I mean how many bands can sing Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin without destroying it? Not many. Heart did, and they nailed it! Even Robert Plant, himself, praised them for it. If you have never heard them sing it, you should check it out. It’s awesome.
Tina Turner may have recently been inducted for a 2nd time
You don’t hear her sing... you feel it
Said perfectly, Traci
I have a way better mix of this than that ❤
"This song is, like, hauntingly good." - literally every song Stevie Nicks wrote.
I was in love with her since i first heard her voice. Then when i first laid eyes on her I was blown away how beautiful and demanding confidence she had just by her appearance.
Love hearing anything Stevie, she is a Queen!! On her own and with Fleetwood Mac, she kills it! Humble suggestions:
"LANSLIDE"

Can I throw in Rhiannon and Gypsy?
@Steven S Of course!!
Billy you need more Stevie in your life. She’s a legend. Can’t go wrong with her solo stuff, her awesome duets and of course Fleetwood Mac.
Yes, it was sampled by Destiny's Child.
No one sounds like Stevie. Many try to emulate her, but that sound is all her own.
The only person I’ve ever heard come close is Miley Cyrus, now that she’s doing rock. In her collab with Stevie, Edge of Midnight, Stevie sings in the background and I legit could not tell it was her until I listened very closely.
Stevie is a supreme being! She rips emotions from the soul and bones and lays them at your feet. She’s a true force of nature.
Pure voice, no autotune.
Hard to find these days.
The only woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. Iconic
Now, Tina Turner and Carole King will be joining her, in 2021...thankfully.
I named my daughter after her and she named her daughter after Stevie song rhiannon.I was 18 when this came out
My mom wanted to name me Rhiannon because of that song. I was raised on Fleetwood Mac other Classic Rock legends so even though I'm only 35 I still know and respect the hell outta these bands.
My daughter's name is Sara Rhiannon after the Fleetwood Mac songs.
Stand back is another great song from Stevie.
Please do Fleetwood Mac, anything off the Rumours album! She was amazing on that, the whole band was superb :)
One of, if not thee greatest woman vocalist of all time.

STEVIE!! The great White Witch herself

STEVIE IS THE QUEEN!! ❤️❤️❤️
The legend, the powerhouse, the mystical wonder that is Ms Stevie Nicks ✨🔮
Stevie Nick's is an icon. Just amazing and no one compares. 50 years later still performing. Awesome
My mom used to throw this album on and we would clean the house on Saturdays.
I literally birthed my older daughter with the Timpespace album playing in my delivery room.
She's 11 now and LOVES to listen to her 'birth CD'.
I was born in 81' there isn't a time I don't remember them in my house. Love Lindsey his talent is sexy,Christie is enchanting and adore Stevies presence. One of the best parts of my childhood was this white cassette.
Wow with Waddy Watchel on guitar and Stevie rocking it just SENSATIONAL!
I was born in 79, but this song has shaped the way I look at life, her vice is beyond amazing and she truly deserves any good that has come to her because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there are others beside me has have been affected more than anyone can believe. I was a 13 yr old girl living the life in So Florida! Stevie changed our lives!
React to Fleetwood Mac - "Dreams" (sung by Stevie Nicks) and also their "Little Lies" and "Everywhere" (both sung by Christine McVie).
Born in 68, I’m so thankful for my 8 older siblings… my Dad and the apprehension of music!!
The goddess the queen the witch of rock . We love her so much . As you could see by the flowers. She’s an amazing person

Came out in 1981, so I was 3. I have something of an old soul. I listen to all kinds of music from many decades. I just love music!
GOAT
I was 10! I already loved Fleetwood Mac, and I loved Stevie solo. This song was EVERYWHERE!
I was 21 when Stevie performed this tune, lol. Time flies doesn't it.
This was my first ever concert. Wild Hearts 1983. I was 13. Joe Walsh opened for Stevie and I fell in love with concerts.

For a really great performance by Stevie Nicks and the strength of her voice: Silver Springs Fleetwood Mac
Bonus points if you do the 1997 live version.
Great live song. 😁
My favorite Fleetwood Mac song. So beautifully heartbreaking.
@@chelseastephens2990 Mine too.

She’s the absolute best! Got to see her last year !
I've been a Stevie fan since I heard my first Fleetwood Mac song back in the seventies. Thanks.
When this song came out I think I was 5. And already rocking out to it when it played on the radio 😁
Original OG, 17 and had a car I felt free as a bird. Driven and empowered. Yes, that lasted all 49 years of my life.
Fun music, fun times...
❤❤❤in my 20’s!! Music was great then!! Love Stevie
I wasn't even born when this song came out, but love Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood mac since I was 8 I'm on the edge of 21 now.
