To be perfectly honest, I didn't see a resemblance with most of them. I think your point at the end was spot on; we're so used to seeing you in vintage fashion that when we see a portrait of a pretty lady from any time between the Edwardian period through the '40s, we might be reminded of you. Most of these, I don't think anyone would have made a connection if you typically wore 2020s clothes and a 2020s hairstyle. So, nice try.
I vibe with 13-year-old Karolina's obsession with Emperor's New Groove, I used to be really into the computer game when I was like 9. Here is an idea: historically accurate Disney princesses part 2, in which you recreate Kuzco's lady outfit
She’d probably eat obwarzanek or a bajgiel (bagel) both of which originated in Krakow (contrary to what New Yorkers may believe). Paczki are fairly modern (~400 years) compared to bajgle (~500 yrs) and obwarzanki (~800 yrs)
@@boskee You are both wrong and right at the same time :) Pączki in the form known today (made with yeast dough and sweet) are fairly modern, from around 17th c, as you said; but they actually were present in their precursory form already in medieval times; they were then made from bread dough and with bacon inside. I remember reading that they were invented in that form even earlier, by Romans, but this fact I don't know how accurate is.

This! But I think we could actually go deeper: She is a time traveller, and it used to be her in all those pictures. But she started receiving too much attention and people started finding her old pics/paintings and sending them to her. So, to fix this and avoid being caught, she had to travel back and ask for people who kinda looked like her to be there instead. Then she managed to change the future (our present) unbeknownst to us, linear time inhabitants who now never got to see the originals. And now she can safely make a video and laugh it off as if she didn't have to carefully weave the delicate threads of time, AGAIN.
@@SukiBells Isn't it more likely she simply asked the painters to 'embellish her features instead? I’m too lazy to look it up but there was a movie in which Monica Potter painter Freddie Prinz Jr. into the corner of a renaissance painting. And his face looked so out of place. There are costubers that look like the era they’re wearing and others who look like a modern person wearing a vintage outfit. Karolina really does look like she would fit comfortably into any photo from the thirties or forties.
@@davidblum7125 Seriously! I wish casting directors paid attention to that sort of detail. There's nothing wrong with her, for she's gorgeous and acts well, but Jenna Coleman of Netflix's "Victoria" feels very out of place. Her face is very modern and it sticks out heavily!

We pavlov ourselves It's like that scene in Now You See Me when they said a trigger word and the guard started mimicking playing the violin and someone said "he will be like that until the piece ends".
Ohmygod you talking about emperor's new groove is literally me and my cousin with shrek 2. Sometimes random words would trigger our memory and from there on, there is no stopping us. (Also our native version is superior to the original.)
Karolina, you are graceful and have a timeless beauty. You have a wicked sense of humor and are self-deprecating but your beauty shines through all of it. Your facial structure allows room for all the beauty God gave you. This video made me laugh because of the way you take it all in and find humor. Have a wonderful day!
I think it's so flattering that a lot of these are paintings, because those images picture very beautiful women. Many people (and I would agree, btw) seem to believe that there is some sort of walking paiting vibe about you
I feel sorry for any of my doppelgängers. That would be rough 💀 When it comes to dubs, I noticed that people either love the version in their language or they hate it and want to kill it with fire. I wonder why that is?
At least in my case, the movies I saw in my chilhood and were dubbed, I re-watched them now that I speak english as an adult and the dubs are just better. Except for Home Alone (1 & 2), the animated or even live action movies have more emotion in dubs. That is, movies from the early 2000's and earlier, because that's when I think voice actors were actually trained and not some celebrity. Also, nostalgia. But I think it is the quality too, because I never liked Home Alone's spanish dub, which is ironic considering there's a scene in both movies adressing this lol.
@@user-is7xs1mr9y interesting. I suppose people can probably relate to their native language more. I can handle anime dubs but nothing live action. Squid Game for example. Gotta watch it in Korean 🤌
i feel like a few of those were less about the actual physical looks being spot on and more about the energy being similar lol like a few of those derpy ones deffoooo shared vibes with you. (n the banana one...........that was just gold)
When I first moved to England, I would see tons of people who looked really similar to people I knew back in America. I think what we’re all seeing is some kind of ethnic similarity most of the time. Like one of my classmates looked scarily like my brother-in-law, like they had the exact same face, but my brother in law has English and Scottish ancestry, which makes me think maybe they shared an ancestor several hundred years ago.
@@SannaJankarin sometimes it is. There's a great documentary about doppelganger where they tried to find the most similar ones who weren't literal twins. When they genetic tested some where actually related far back.
Growing up, I wondered if I went to Europe which nationality or ethnic group I would look most like since as most Americans, I'm quite mixed. I looked up photos of Finnish people one day and that's when I knew, I found my cousins. For Finland specifically it's a joke that everyone's a cousin or that the same man impregnanted all the women because everyone looks so similar.
@@justynafigas-skrzypulec3349 I thought (s)he was referring to the ancestry as a ethnic group. Which I don't really know if it counts that much. I mean, yes there are some similarities, but they are not the most important ones.

@@beatrice0610 you had to pick Jenna Coleman. She’s my celebrity crush. But your right. She could pull off the sixties and seventies easily, but she doesn’t look Victorian.
@@davidblum7125 LOL, I love her too! She has those very big eyes that could work for the 60s and 70s, yes!
same!! i'd look great in renaissance times: high hairline, large nose, weak chin
9:03 .. YESS! I’m exactly the same way but with How The Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carey. I watched that movie countless times that any word spoken that was in the movie immediately reminds me of scenes and I can’t help but start reenacting the whole movie.. it’s a problem.
GIRL I KNEW I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT YOU LOOKED SO MUCH LIKE THE DEPECHE MODE MV ACTRESS BUT I WAS NEVER BRAVE ENOUGH TO TELL YOU
11:22 the banana sticker made me laugh wayyy too hard
"If I hold it really far away and tilt it, I still dont see it"
Gold
I love how she's complimenting all these women, like meme mom you're beautiful inside and out 😭❤
"Queen Karolina isn't real, she can't hurt you"
Queen Karolina: 1:02
I wish someone photoshopped her face onto one of these images and see if she’d recognise herself 😂
Love to see her reaction!
Long face, long neck, dark hair, thin build = Karolina. If they have big eyes, it's a bonus.
Yes, big dark eyes (trés soulful) help a lot with the doppellgangers.
Also for some reason people with blonde hair even tho she doesnt have it lmao
Many of the fine paintings are beautiful just like you, with a great sense of era style .
That correlation is prevalent.
My sis and me were the same with Finding Nemo. On long car trips we would literally quote the whole movie from the beginning to the end to each other, and it felt like we were watching it.
LOL! Our family can quote vast swaths of the Emperor's New Groove too. Such a great film!
I feel like there's a spark in the eyes of all the women who look at the spectator and she qualified as "absolutely not" that is very similar to her gaze, somewhere between joyful and defiant
Yes, I also thought that the eyes were similar!
Yep, it's not their features most of the time
I mean they look related but it's just the general impression of them that you go ah, she reminds me of Karolina
Hahahahah I love how your beauty has been captured sooo many times throughout the ages! I especially love knowing that your fashion choices have never changed in at least 300 years hihihi (we know you’re immortal!)
The Emperor's New Groove being your obsession is the best explanation for why you are our meme mom.
Karolinas description of random sounds triggering other memories is so accurate. It happens to me all the timeeeeee. We pavlov ourselves
It's like that scene in Now You See Me when they said a trigger word and the guard started mimicking playing the violin and someone said "he will be like that until the piece ends".
Ohmygod you talking about emperor's new groove is literally me and my cousin with shrek 2. Sometimes random words would trigger our memory and from there on, there is no stopping us.
(Also our native version is superior to the original.)
What version is it? :D
@@justynafigas-skrzypulec3349 croatian. xd slavic superiority obviously
@@Wingers55 , brilliant! Love me some HR vibe. Greetings from Kraków

This is also me and my brother but with Toy Story, and the superior spanish dub (the latin american one, not the one from Spain).
These are so hilarious! I can definitely see resemblance in a lot of these
Actually shes immortal, they’re ALL her.
The first one (the jar lid) is still the most striking of all the resemblances!
Also I love your old face Karolina♡
Emperor's New Groove is amazing honestly
There is a student’s painting in my school from 2003 that looks exactly like Karolina holding her cat and it’s uncanny. Not historical, just weird
I agree with you, and I can add that Karolina has also a perfect makeup!
Karolina walks into a bar ...
"why the long face?"
;)
I think it's so flattering that a lot of these are paintings, because those images picture very beautiful women. Many people (and I would agree, btw) seem to believe that there is some sort of walking paiting vibe about you
I think the paintings are the most accurate.
Plot twist : karolina is so historically accurate because she’s a time traveler.
I feel sorry for any of my doppelgängers. That would be rough 💀
When it comes to dubs, I noticed that people either love the version in their language or they hate it and want to kill it with fire.
Now I’m curious if I have historical doppelgängers too lol
Me too
"I am Shaun Mendes, okay let's move on" 😂
your DMs: *shows you any white woman in a photo "THIS PERSON IS YOUR EXACT DOUBLE"
i feel like a few of those were less about the actual physical looks being spot on and more about the energy being similar lol like a few of those derpy ones deffoooo shared vibes with you.
I don't think it's ancestry. It's just the way genetics works.
@@SannaJankarin , genetics *is* ancestry.
@@justynafigas-skrzypulec3349 I thought (s)he was referring to the ancestry as a ethnic group. Which I don't really know if it counts that much. I mean, yes there are some similarities, but they are not the most important ones.
You are gorgeous! I love that you can laugh at this stuff. Your "beauty standards are crap" videos are uplifting and encourage me to remember to not to be so harsh on what I see as imperfections. I hope it helps everyone feeling the same pressures. So thank you and you make me laugh out loud all the time.
Dear Karolina, your face has always reminded me of a portrait my mother that was painted when she was 16 years old so it would have been 1949-50. She and i had a strong resemblance but i also thought she looked like Sophia Loren. Lovely women all have similar features. Your hair is dead-on the style my mother wore in the painting.
Your eye makeup here looks STUNNING on you like WOW
Okay kids, let's play "Is That Karolina or Just Literally Any White Girl With a Long Face?"
omg the depeche mode video! I've been thinking that for, like, years! It's also the way she moves idk, reminds me of you doing a character
"Why don't we say 'screenshoot'?"... I've always asked myself the same thing
That bit blew my mind a little ngl
