  • Audiophile snobbery and snake oil has always been an unfortunate part of the audio business. You often hear audiophiles claim a product isn't "audiophile" either because of brand, price, or not being esoteric enough. They sometimes tout snake oil claims as to why exotic cables or audiophile tweaks sound "better" while clinging to their poor understanding of engineering principles to defend their claims. I fear this type of thinking can turn off future generations of budding audiophiles from our industry. Let's bring science and reality back to audio.
