  • During a security council meeting at the United Nations, Ukraine's foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, asked for a minute of silence to be held in memory of all those who lost their lives due to 'Russian aggression'.
Subscribe to Guardian News on RUclips ► bit.ly/guardian...
The silence was interrupted by Russia's representative, who could be seen raising his hand during the tribute. Russia's UN ambassador, Vasily Nebenzya, said: 'All lives are priceless ... we are rising to remember the memory [of all the victims],' before the minute's silence resumed. The meeting was held on the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

It's true that they all stood up. But the reason for that is because the Russia representative had asked for a minute of silence for ALL of the victims of what happened in Ukraine, including the Russians. Only after that, Brazil and China representatives stood up.
