Thank you, thank you, thank you!! My dad & brother used to do this; they both sadly passed. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to open the battery compartment! Thanks to you, I did it! Now on to the store for a fresh 9 volt.
Thank you, after struggling with it I finally resorted to the Tube, and here you were with the answer. I have been in my home for 9 years and this is the first time I have had to replace this battery. I suspect that the battery was in there for 10 years prior so good advice on “get a good one”.
Thank you so much for these clear, quick instructions! I'm a pet sitter. My client's garage pad died and they are out of state (unreachable). I was trying to slide the front of the pad cover off. You saved me from having to call a repair person. I should pay you.

@@AroundTheHome1nice job🎉❤with your advice! Loved seeing your yellow pick up truck pull in the driveway. I thought that was a cute way to open up to your discussion. Thanks again. 👍
Thank you so much. I sure hope they improve the design. Nothing should be so difficult. I am a retired engineer and couldn't figure it out without your help. I normally would never read instructions for anything, but needed it here.
Thanks for the video, I knew it open from the bottom but I was doing it all wrong. I am glad I looked on line, didn't know I would get a video with helpful steps. Garage door keypad is working. Learned something new!
Just wanted to say thanks for the YTube presentation. It saved me a lot of grief. Looked all over the battery cover and could not figure it out. Was afraid I would damage it by prying it off. Glad I looked here online.
I cannot thank you enough for demonstrating and explaining how to get that battery door open! I tried everything logical, with no success. The way it works makes no sense at all. And even after using a nail in that tiny hole, and releasing the door, I could not figure out how to open it! I nearly broke it off in the process:)
My keypad did not end up opening like the one in your video but BECAUSE YOU HAD SHOWN ME THIS ONE, I easily figured out AND HAD CONFIDENCE to do it ! Thank you thank you.
Thank you... my brute strength almost got the better of that ridiculously designed battery cover, but thankfully i found your video . Your tip saved me from having to buy a new one or using duct tape.
Thank you sir. I changed the 9-volt battery in mine today. it was a Golden Power brand made in China. I installed that battery along with that new remote 16 years ago. Now I'd say that's a damn good battery. I won't put anything else in there that'll last that long. I wrote Golden Power a long email today about their great product. Thanks for the vid.
Thank you!!! I see the previous owner of my house slightly marred it because they didn't know the proper way...(well,neither did I till I found your video)
Thank you brother. This world is something else, he's just transferring knowledge. why in the world would someone give this great video clip a thump down??
Thanks so much. I thought I was going to have to contact my garage door opener installer and probably be charged at least $100 and now I know how simple it is.
Thank you! Easy if you know what to do, not so much if you don’t! I pulled out the instruction manual but that didn’t help so appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
Speaking for all the widows out here, thank you for the valuable information. This is supposed to be on the "honey do" list and now we are tackling these things alone. With your helpful videos we can say, "I did it myself!"
