WITE2 - T1 - Von Bock smashes the Soviet Western Front

During the opening stages of Operation Barbarossa, Army Group Center overcomes the Soviet formations along the border and the infantry divisions of the 9th Army and of the 2nd Panzer Group widen the gap for Hoth s and Guderian s panzers. Brushing aside any opposition, the armored spearhead of von Bock s Army Group encircle the bulk of the Soviet Western front in a pocket around the triangle of Brest-Litovsk, Byalistok and Minsk. While Guderian s men barely seal the south-eastern edge of the encirclement, Hoth s motorized formations advance at full speed towards the Dvina. Will they manage to secure Vitebsk next week before the Red Army could reinforce its garrison?
