- While Army Group South had a difficult opening on June 22nd, this week the arrival of von Kleist's mobile units and the declaration of war by Hungary and Romania, von Rundstedt's Army Group now has the opportunity to weaken the Soviet South-Western Front by encircling as many units as possible.

It seems pretty easy to seal a pocket against the Carpathians, though my Romanian armor did not get as far as yours. I am playing normal DLCs, so no mods, so maybe that's why I'm not getting so far. Also playing on 'normal', not impossible.
Against the AI, it is definitely possible to close several units (18-20) in the Carpatian/Galician pocket ;)
Matteo - what happens when you "take care" of Tito's partisans... Do later requirements for that theatre box lowers so you can squeze few more divisions from there? I need more divisions 😂
I don't play with unlocked TB and my Air is automated. I just move fighters etc... Advance Army tool is too crude. Great how you play but it is too fast 😂
Yes. In my OOB mod, there is an chain of events that between October and December 1941 might provide the player with additional units taken from the Balkan TB. Just like in this scenario, the challenge is represented by having most combat units locked in the TB.
Small spoiler alert: I will find and get rid of Tito and this October/November I will receive some addditional divisions for the meatgrinder of the Eastern Front 😉

@@fraulens Haha, yes I know that you accellarete it - hope that one day you will do in depth playthrough where you explain some of the moves, results etc....I know the game good enough to play it but plenty of noobs there that are struggling. I could have learned the game to your level - but I am not playing on Impossible - only normal so I just assign support units to some divisions no min/maxing. Only doing depots etc manually. Good luck with your game - we will see the Winter - try to get Level 2-3 forts 😉
